JEUX D'EAU Playing Cards are now being printed by Hanson Chien Production Co, whom I have heard nothing but good things about.

The amazing level of support we have been receiving means we are about to hit our first stretch goal! I am thinking about re-working the seal so that each one is numbered...

Hello all. As per this backer email I received today:


"To our supporters: Thank You. We have gained enough of a financial backing to recruit a top level printer. We would not settle for anything less than excellence when it came to letting our design be realized. We give you, Hanson Chien Production Co."

That should make some of your decisions easier!

They source from the same general location, but whether it is the exact same printer I do not know. They certainly have developed their own stock and finish. EndersGame's post on Hanson Chien was very informative for me:

Thankfully the quality look is also backed up by quality printing and performance, and these Taiwan-produced decks also handle beautifully. Clearly... not a flash in the pan or a one-hit wonder, ...with these new decks he's proving that... whatever you choose, as long as Hanson is your chef, you should be pleased with what he cooks up in the custom playing card kitchen."

If their quality and registration is truly that good, then it's likely that they're using the same printer.

Hm...good pricing with US shipping included, USPCC printed...not bad. I'm not a fan of the pip-less fronts though. If they had the same pips as the previous Jeux D'eau decks, I'd back this in a heartbeat.

edit: Just took another look at these and misread "Ripples Edition" as "Nipples Edition" for a quick sec, and now I can't unsee.
