Why are they not playable? I’m not familiar with the brand but they look pretty good and are USPCC. Just curious.

If I were to imagine a parody of Elite decks, it would look like this.

Bicycle is a fantastic brand and the quality of the cards are not at doubt, its the quality of the design. For one thing the indices are basically in the center of the card to make room for that awful border, makes it near impossible to fan a hand of cards during gameplay of trick taking games or to get a nice corner peak in a game of poker.

Easy pass. Elite was one of the very first to make use of the Kickstarter platform for playing cards, back when you could get by on designs like this. Which is how I ended up with about 6 of their decks, all of which I'll be letting go when I trim the fat from my collection in the near-ish future, they haven't held up.

Interesting to see that they still have a strong following as the deck is already funded Oh well, to each their own

Glad I am not alone on this. The two issues I have with their decks (and they have released quite a few by now) is that (1) they seem to be recycling one and the same design over and over again; and (2) while they appear somewhat interesting on the screen, are in fact positively underwhelming in handling.

They are trying to appeal to the collectors by releasing the "ultra limited" (288 decks) gilded version but it is ultimately the same deck with a seal and gilding. Boring...

Yeah, basically if you play any game where you have more than 4 cards on your hand, you won't be able to identify then without having to go through them all individually... Guess they should be good to play "Killer"

Oh look, a new Elite deck. Or should I say oh look, the same Elite deck.

Easy pass. The Gold deck was okay. Everything else they've designed is too close to trash.
