Military Pin Up Playing Cards
Dear all,
The next my project on the KS will be dedicated to pin up, based on my pin up posters that I’ve created some years ago.
Now I’m working on the box and would like to know your opinion about the face on the box. Do you like the whole idea or is it better to use fonts and other details?

I like her face and pips on the box. The current green and yellow look bad together. Maybe a brighter yellow and darker green.
Move on, nothing to see here.

I’ll adjust the colors, thank you, RichK. The yellow color will printed with bronze foil.RichK wrote:I like her face and pips on the box. The current green and yellow look bad together. Maybe a brighter yellow and darker green.

It also might be worth considering to make each of the suits a different branch of the military; ex. army, navy, airforce, marines, or coast guard.
Also, the "green" used is looking a bit closer to taupe in color and just needs to be slightly adjusted to a more "army/olive/moss green", not too dissimilar to some of those shades already used in the designs you've already got; in which case, the bronze foil will complement the color well and look really great

I just joined the forum yesterday... but, I've been a graphic artist for many years, so if you don't mind a new guy's opinion:
I actually like the drab green. It reminds me of that faded canvas tent fabric you'd see at those old-fashioned army/navy stores. My only problem was that the yellow looked weak and was going to suggest 'foil' – so your bronze foil idea is 'perfecto'.
Awesome work!

Re: Military Pin Up Playing Cards
I like the King of diamonds card the most as the posing has that classic pin-up feel to it. The other cards... not so much. They remind me of those nudie decks we see being produced quite often, the ones with the low goal of like $100. There's a disconnect between the girl on the tuck+the K of diamonds and the other court cards you've shown. Are you going for classic military pin-up or more modern military?
Also, I'll third the comment about the green being too taupe. I live for anything olive or drab green and to my eye that's just too beige/khaki leaning.
