Alright. Enough is enough.

"Cardillion" is a garbage name. Really?
"Gold Edition". Why? How is this gold? Fools gold? Only a fool will pledge for these.
Luxury? Yeah, if you consider Motel 6 a luxury hotel.
I mean, I guess these are technically playing cards. You got me there.
Highest level of craftsmanship? OMG, I could crap on a piece of blank paper, and that would be better "craftsmanship".
"Made to amaze and inspire"? Yes, I'm amazed at how awful these are, and was inspired to tell the world exactly how awful they are.
$12 for this crap? No thanks.
Way to attempt piggy-backing off the Mint 2 campaign premise.
"This cards will feel and handle like never before." It's printed by USPCC, we're all familiar with their products. These are nothing special.
The tuck is crap. The back design is crap. The jokers are crap. The aces are crap. The courts are CRAP. The pips are crap. The borderless design is crap. The faces on the borderless design are CRAP.

Crap is even a generous term for any of this deck, because as previously mentioned, I could CRAP on a piece of blank paper and it would be BETTER than any and all of this deck.

I'm done.

I... have nothing to add to that. Twopiece has basically covered everything, although far more colorfully than I would have said. :) Yeah, Mint 2 rip..."inspired" sounds right, including the "Built in Superior Marking System", marked stripper and borderless design.

However this does look like an evolution of his earlier Piramidia deck. Better and improved, I'm not so sure. You be the judge.

I'm a sucker for these types of backs. They appeal to me very much. That's not enough to make this deck of interest.

Seriously, this is not funny and getting pretty old and tiresome. We don't need to see you repeat the word "crap" 12 times in describing your opinion of this deck. I don't know what you do for a living, but whatever it is, if someone posted about your work in a manner as offensive, juvenile, and insulting as what you just did, I'm sure your head would explode and you wouldn't appreciate it one bit. You can post your dislike of this deck without being an utter asshole.

I say this with all sincerity: I would like to implore any of the mods or Mike R. to do something about this cancer. Sure, it would be easy for me to simply put this guy on my foe list so I don't have to see this poison anymore, but other people, many of them visitors, will see this hate and will have a lower opinion of United Cardists and our community.

Getting back to this deck, I don't think its bad at all. I would like the back design to be full-bleed, and given the tuck specifies bordered version, it makes me think a full-bleed version will come out as well. This is printed by USPCC so we know the quality will be great, and if he uses their metallic inks (and USPCC has by far the best metallic inks), all that gold will really pop. A well-designed casino-syle back, custom courts, aces, pips, and jokers, there's a lot to like here.

I actually have TwoPiece on my foe list because I got tired of reading his nonsense. But apparently if someone quotes his post in their posts, it all shows up and I can still see his garbage. Unfortunate. I am absolutely against censorship, but this type of diatribe is ridiculous and I agree something should be done. Everyone is free to express their opinions, but when someone is so consistently immature and insensitive to other's, it cheapens our community. There is literally nothing redeeming about TwoPiece's post. There is no attempt to offer anything constructive, just pure negativity and lack of class. I think this is a perfectly decent deck and if they do come out with a full bleed version, I'm in.

Hiding TwoPiece's post isnt actually a solution... unless we pre-hide his posts for every new visitor beforehand...

About the deck...

I dont like the back design... maybe its just my taste, but it looks bad to me

The Tuck case is ok... the faces are nice I do like them... but for that price? definitely not.

The project, design, prices are too similar to Mints ... also his previous project Piramida was to kinda trying to imitate the Mints (imo).

There are better decks for that price out there. (Although not sure anymore since 15$ seems to be today's standard)

1. I don't perform crap work, so I can't be subjected to "crap" opinions.
2. I won't post my opinion of this deck "without being an utter asshole", because the designer of this deck is an utter asshole for even creating it.
3. I'm not sure if anyone can take your suggestion seriously when you call another human being "cancer". So much for the 'high road'. Nice example.
4. If visitors want to judge the community of UC by 1 individual, well, that's unnecessary prejudice. You certainly aren't aiding your cause with this garbage response.

A Simple Comment:

I don't believe this project can ever get close to its $30,000.00 goal.

But, just in case it does...

I pledged for a pair.

Am I a Hyp-O-Crite, or just a Gambler?

Will

My main hesitation about this is if you look at update 8 of his previous project which I did back, he without warning changed the printing company from EPCC to NPCC which I think many will agree is a downgrade. This was done long after funding was complete and only announced to backers after production had begun as a single sentence after thought. He was kind enough to refund my money but just be aware that although he claims USPCC printing there is history of him changing printer out of the blue after having collected your money.

High enough that I don't have to break a sweat to join Mensa. I don't see how this is relevant.

Project has been canceled so this is a moot point but when I first saw this deck my initial impressions where: awful name, courts resemble Rick Davidson's a bit, back looks like Mint meats NEO Wave, tuck is not exciting. And after seeing JuFiN's post 2 up from mine I was 100% certain this was no good.

Looks like this project was relaunched with a $52k goal. Pretty lofty goal. It's always hard to fund with such a high goal, regardless.

I wonder why the huge bump in the funding goal, given how little funding was raised with the previous incarnation of the project. Huh.

Edit: I will note, this project has already surpassed the pledges of the original project.

I have updated the OP with the new projects' information.

Well, he has some EB tiers with a buy tier and get one free. However, while that will help get an initial boost to the campaign, it will not be enough in itself to get this funded. I don't see how this can succeed. I wish him luck though.

Now it really looks like he's copying the Mint 2 project. Good luck to him, August has been oversaturated with so many card projects.
