I had seen this campaign launched on IndieGoGo a few weeks ago and, even though it doesn't look like it's anywhere near reaching its funding goal, the creator has it stated that the cards are currently being printed and estimated delivery is set for August... Being a bicycle-branded deck with pretty great fully custom artwork, this deck probably would've had no problem reaching funding had it been launched through KS rather than IndieGoGo...

Looks pretty neat! Probably won't fund on IndieGoGo though, but I would like to see this on Kickstarter.

well from my understanding, unlike KS, IndieGoGo has a 'flexible goal' option in which all funds are collected regardless if the set goal is actually met... from the sounds of it, even currently with only 2 backers raising a grand total of $76 bucks, these cards are getting produced anyways so I wouldn't be concerned about not being able to get a deck from elsewhere later on...

yea, I agree - maybe they're being specifically printed for someone/somewhere else in which the bulk of the remaining decks have already been claimed for resale...? - but that's only speculation

The back is balls, but I don't mind the rest of it.

These are interesting, to say the least. I don't back projects on Indiegogo, though.

Currently on Kickstarter... 990 USD goal, 7 day funding period and isn't this deck already printed? Is this just a scam?

The decks are currently being printed by the United States Playing Card Company and should be finished within one month.

What on earth? I just bought this deck last month! This should be reported to Kickstarter mgmt for breach of policy, correct?

The deck has even already been reviewed by vjose32 on YT... That's why it felt strangely familiar when I first saw it on KS

It has to be a scam then. I doubt that the creator is actually the creator of these cards, an imposter most likely.

yep, def reported it and everyone should do so as well; KS is not a storefront for misappropriated use to sell off remaining stock and goes against their rules in being treated as such. I'm guessing the reason the creator has set such a small window in which to the campaign to run - only 7 days - is in the hope that it doesn't attract attention and if so, KS won't have the time to investigate the reports and shut it down before the campaign has already closed.

The original creator of the IndieGoGo campaign is stated to be 'Alex' of Prestige Playing Cards from NY and the email for contact is prestigeplayingcardsco@gmail.com; while the one for this campaign also claims to be 'Alex' of Prestige Playing Cards, is apparently outta LA and being ran by 'Jonathan Grassini' - now, that's not enough to definitively conclude that this is a scam or imposter situation, as we don't know for sure that this creator for this particular KS campaign is the same as the IndiGoGo one, but we also don't definitively know that it's not either - regardless, it's def cause for suspicion and worth noting as it potentially raises some red flags in the legitimacy of this creator and his reputation as one that can be trusted...

Also, shoutout to Sherman for commenting about it's availability in the comments section of the project page to let other backers & potential backers know where they can get the deck and in often cases for less than what it's being offered at in the pledge tiers. kudos!

Took the effort to post a more detailed comment on the KS campaign, also reported as well.
Btw, KS really has a bad reputation of screening projects...
