Yeah, I am not too interested. However, he already is nearly 2x the goal amount. Good luck to him. I wish he had gone with USPCC and brought the price to a realistic level. Ah well. Small release and exposure it is.

Love the art. The price ... not so much.

2x the goal... Of $500. Thank goodness for KS or this person may NEVER have found a spare $500.
I've said it before and I'll say it again- KS should not allow campaigns like this.

The artwork is good, but they used "cardistry" in their name, so I won't even bother looking over the campaign.

Hello, I wanted to join in the discussion to answer some questions. The price of the cards can be seen as steep, but they are the 1st edition (signed) and each sale will go towards funding more of my playing card creations. The low funding goal was simply because Kickstarter has not had as many people on it as of late, then I would fund the rest of the expenses with my own funds. As for USPCC, it would be a dream for me to make a set of cards with them, but I do not have the exposure yet to fulfill a minimum 1000 deck print. Thank you all for checking out the deck and good luck collecting!

I decided to make the goal $500 because there have not been many people on Kickstarter this month, but I still wanted to make these cards a reality. That is why I decided to set the goal low and pay the rest of the expenses with my own funds. Lastly, I would love to join the forum at united cardists and will talk to everyone there soon. Thanks again, Pierre.
This is funny...nice design though
Woah the price..:insert drake meme: (i know 100 decks cost alot but its mpc)

Scroll up for a post by the creator. (New posts get stuck in "approval limbo", until we approve them)
Welcome to the forum, KardKraken!

KardKraken, thanks for your input/clarification on this campaign. I still think you could fold the 1st Edition as a limited signed prototype tier and part of a larger campaign that would have a more reasonable option and printing through someone like USPCC. This is a good design and deserves to be done as a top notch printer.
That said, I guess the way you are going about it, this will also get you to the same place as it sounds like you will use the profits from this campaign to help fund a regular run through someone like USPCC. As long as you don't add any bells and whistles with your 2nd Edition, you should be able to keep the costs down. You can always add stretch goals that will only be added with more funding.
I am glad it looks like your campaign is doing well, and look forward to your 2nd Edition campaign.

Cool campaign. Very fresh and colorful. 9 days to go - not so good. With USPCC printing, $5000 goal, and 3 weeks campaign it will be funded for sure. Just IMHO - remove "Cardistry" from the name. The art is good itself. Most "Cardistry" decks are ugly, your deck is very nice. All the best!
Would be cool to see a "tropical water" color on the back for your second edition.

Maybe I can't do math anymore.
I believe the campaign says that only 100 decks will be printed.
Yet 105 are available as pledges.....
I do like the art, but not the marketing strategy. I think a creator builds to a $100 deck, not swinging for the stars out of the gate.
Anyway, I've spent to much time on this already. Good luck with your campaign

Got mine yesterday, to be honest , this feels like 5$ deck rather than 50$.
I wouldn't say it's pure garbage, cuz the court is not bad
But 50$? DEFINITELY NOT WORTH OF MY MONEY
And about this tuck box, I feel like I'm being cheated
" We decide to keep one aspect of the cards a surprise for backs. The deck case will be unveiled to the handful of selected people to get these beautiful decks"
So that's the surprise hes giving me, I paid 50 for this deck and cant even get a decent tuck box. Don't mention he didn't even seal the deck.
I won't back any of his project again, and I suggest no one should, most disappointing deck I got so far.
The end

Not saying I got burned, but I bought one of this guy's early campaigns. 2 decks $20 @ inc shipping to Australia isn't too bad -- for a design I'd say is a little better than this, but campaigns subsequent to the one I backed and their rampant escalation in price for cards I thought were nice but not great convinced me to be wary of any future projects. Feeling vindicated.

*Telephone trill*
Me: Hello?
*line crackles for a few seconds*
*expecting South Asian incomprehensible accent*
"Hello, this is 1996, we'd like our Powerpoint presentation back"
