I spent way to much wondering why a fast food place would release a nautical deck then I realized the title says "whale castle" and not "white castle"...

If it makes you feel any better, I was thinking the same thing.

Me too and I have never even seen one. What does White Castle even serve?

Really small hamburgers. You probably don't have them in Finland

Only fast food chains we have here are McDonalds, Burger King, Subway, Hesburger (A large Finnish fast food chain), Rolls (A Finnish..? fast food chain) and Scan Burger (Another Finnish fast food chain) and that's about it. Oh and Arnolds, which is a Finnish chain that offers donuts and bagels. Oh man those Arnolds donuts... Taste like straight up diabetes. I absolutely love them.

You haven't seen the classic movie Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle??
On topic: These look kinda cool, though I'm having trouble seeing the coherence of the theme and concept.
The concept of this deck was from a documentary that I watched on Youtube which covers a subject on deep sea. In this Documentary, deep sea was compared to deep space because they are surprisingly similar and this fact leads me to imagine the marine animals in space.
I tried to create a background that sea and space coexists in mysterious atmosphere. I spent days agonizing over how to organize all these as one design and finally I came up with a rising castle on a whale’s back.
How much do you have to smoke to go from "deep sea = deep space" to "castle on a whale's back"? Castles aren't found in sea or in space...
The art isn't bad, though I'm not a big fan of line art personally. The price is very reasonable, although being from an unknown printer...
Butter Finish (Very comparable to Bicycle stock but smoother)
Yeah, right
Not to mention the "No risk except natural disaster."
Gonna be a hard pass, which is always a shame when the deck itself has potential.

Back off topic. Räpylätassu, you gotta try Beignets. You can google it. I am telling you nothing compares to those confectionary delights if you like donuts. They take it up several notches. I know you can get them here and in Louisiana. I am not sure if they have spread further. For those of you deprived of these, sorry. Although, it is probably good because they are like highly addictive. I had to move away from the cafe in my city that made those to stop.

My favorite restaurant always serves beignets as an amuse bouche at brunchtime. If you've never had them: imagine a powdered donut hole, but eggy, like french toast.
There's supposedly a restaurant just across the river in Kentucky that serves sweet potato beignets, but I haven't made the pilgrimage yet.
Man, burger chains. I miss Mos Burger's tonkatsu burger....

I actually am not that big fan of donuts, but I do like Arnolds.
There really is just one food in Kuopio (and the area around it) that is ours and ours alone. Kalakukko. Some idiots think that the translation is Fishrooster, or Fishcock. Although kala means fish and kukko means rooster, that is not a good translation as the word kukko in it originally comes from the Finnish word kukkaro, which means a coinpurse or a wallet. Basically in kalakukko there is a flat rye dough that is filled with either perch or vendace plus bacon, then put together to a halfball shape and cooked in a hot wood fired oven for about 5 to 7 hours. It can be eaten either hot or as room tempature as the rye crust keeps the kalakukko eatable for several days. When eating one, cut a round hole in the middle through the crust, cut a piece of the crust, scoop some of the stuffing on top, add some butter and just eat. Yum.

Narwhal the concept is pretty stellar, the design of these cards are quite underwhaleming, which I can't free Willy overlook. The design isn't terrible, just very very orcanary, so needless to say, I won't be humpbackin' this project.

I'll focus my criticism on the cards, and not the people contributing to this particular thread...
I don't like them.

I actually really like this deck. It is "whimsy". I bought a bunch to sell on my website that sold out, but will be getting more soon. Handling is not bad at all, for non USPCC.
