My newest Deck is printed and ready to go!

The Snake Oil Elixir Deck will be available at MidnightCards.com next Friday, May 4th, at Noon EDT.

The Snake Oil is a semi-custom design which utilizes Arrco Courts. I drew the Magician and Snake in pen & in, to fit with the late 1800's look I was going for.

3,000 Decks were printed by USPCC. Half are with me at MidnightCards.com, and half will eventually be released at BlueCrown.com (long story!).

Randy was kind enough to send me an early deck to take a peek at, and they are great! Really like the whole vibe that he put together here.

Love these! Your Bowl-a-rama decks are some of my favorite and I love this return to whimsy.

Midnight Cards/Randy Butterfield gets it. Creative design at a reasonable price earns my support every time.

Yeah it has a nice tuck box and some good artwork on it, but this is type of deck that I try not to buy anymore, it's pretty good. If I am getting a modern deck nowadays, it has to be 100 % top notch custom artwork and the Arrco courts don't cut it for me.

It's a pretty good deck. I own too many pretty good decks. I want amazing decks.

I love the concept of this deck. The design is well-done (as are most of Randy's deck). I don't buy many modern decks made to look vintage, but I just really like this one. At first, I didn't care for the back design, but it looks like snakeskin (duh)...

I like that it's not trying too hard to fool you into thinking it is vintage, but it still has that vibe. Randy's good at vibe.

Woooooow. Randy, I gotta ask: WTF? Where is the incentive for me to purchase your decks right away now? I'm sure you had nothing to do with this pricing but it's still a slap in the face to your loyal consumers.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with me.

Alex does what Alex wants to do, always. I guess he wanted to quick sale the last of his half of the Snake Oils. This type of stuff is why I'm doing less and less freelance Decks.

For any of my solo Decks, I control all pricing aspects (and make sure to have the MSRP higher than KS prices, and make sure resellers can't go lower than that MSRP).

I also decided to not do any more sales on MidnightCards.com. I haven't had a sale in well over a year now, and don't plan on anytime in the near to mid future. I like to sell my extra stock at Comic Cons, Art Shows and Festivals. Cincinnati Comic Con is next month! Come visit the Midnight Cards Booth if anyone's in the area!

EDIT: I also control all pricing aspects of any Decks with my buddy, Mike Wilson (OCULUS and the upcoming POLLOCK Artistry and POLLOCK Cardistry Decks). We forgot to do the MSRP lockdown with OCULUS, so Penguin and Hocus Pocus had it lower than they should've. We'll never make that mistake again!

Well, at $3.50, even including shipping and taxes it is a nice deal. I don't mind picking up a few more.
