1. Thought you were quitting? Yeah, right!
2. Jay only collects Bicycle, so you can't really blame him
3. One more reason to go to next year's convention in Cleveland

I don't think living within or outside of the US will cause this deck to be cheaper. DB's "rare" decks like this always sell for big money. Especially when tech is involved for some reason. This will end up like his Microsoft deck and become almost impossible to find or cost $500+. I'm still looking for the android/Intel Bicycle decks which isn't DB but still rare tech decks. Maybe one day... but living in the states doesn't give me an advantage on this one.

I don't understand why anyone wants any of these overpriced brand-whore decks.
First Microsoft; then ABC; now Dell?
Reminds me of the underpants gnomes:
1. Put DB spade design on it.
2. Put a brand name on it.
3. ???
4. Profit

I am with you TwoPieceFeed. Although I am a moth to a flame for other stuff. “Oooh! A pretty, shiny deck with pretty frills! Ahhh!”

If they're able to sell decks for that much they're doing something right.

It boggles my mind how many people collect ... anything... and still don't understand why certain decks sell for so much. There's only XXXX number of them, most people who received them probabbbbly opened them right when they got them or tossed it into a junk drawer, that leaves handfuls that ever get to collectors and theres way more people that want EVERY db deck than there are available decks. Supply demand. Come on people.

A seller on ebay sold more than half brick Dell deck this week!! What's going on???

Funny thing is the price spread. Classic supply and demand. They were selling at close to $600 then the price started falling. The lowest deck went for $190.
The same thing happened a while back when some sold off a brick of red gatorbacks. The price started dropping into the $45 range. These are good buying opportunities.

I just received the following email on this deck. This one is signed though. The URL says merry christmas in it so not sure what to say about that.
https://mailchi.mp/conjuringarts/merry- ... d1dd70afe7
EXCLUSIVE OFFER, ONLY FOR
CONJURING ARTS CUSTOMERS!
We have been given a very small cache of a very special deck that David Blaine made for a private event at Dell. David has signed each deck's tuck box (so the cello has been removed) making each deck the ultimate collectors' item.
To get your free deck just spend $500 in the store and we'll give you the deck free. We know that is a pretty large purchase, so we will also allow the purchase of a $500 gift certificate that can be used in the future to qualify for the free deck.

The last time they ran this promo they at least gave a sealed Microsoft deck.
Not sure if this is worth the price.

I asked about the Microsoft decks in the picture:
'Thank you for emailing.
Yes, the signed Microsoft decks will be available some time in the future, but not at this time.'
So, maybe you could get the GC to buy the next GC later on?

Kiting gift cards....
Truthfully, I would rather a sealed decks then an opened & signed one. But to each their own.

I still cannot get why signed decks are more valuable....

I am happy to pay $200 for a sealed Dell deck, but won't even pay $50 for a signed one.
