Interesting artwork, USPCC printed and a nice nod to cartomancie decks. Loving it. The goal seems a bit high with the abundance of decks on KS these days so I hope it funds.

8$ for shipping isn't that bad these days. I just passed a ton of projects on Kickstarter because of the shipping fees. I've seen some 19$ for a deck. Sorry but I can't do that.

I sent him a message about the shipping because it says it's "included" way down on his deck pricing chart. My $12 EB shouldn't have $8 added on.

I like the quirkiness about this deck so I hope he fixes or relaunches it to get the shipping correct.

These look ridiculously good...

They remind me of the Avernum deck. They have a 'rough draft' visual. I love it.

This art is really really good, and I was very interested in backing, buuut something is definitely wrong here.
Shipping within the United States shouldn't cost $8. It costs $6 to send via usps priority mail with tracking and insurance.

Since early birds are gone, right now, it's $15 for 1 deck, plus shipping it would cost me $23 to buy 1 single deck.
I've seen people turn down some of the most amazing projects at like $12 a deck, because they wouldn't pay a dollar over 10.
So I'm pretty surprised there isn't more confusion and anger here.

I'm wondering if the creator is subsidizing global shipping at the expense of US buyers or trying to make us pay for his production shipping costs or something.

Sounds like this was indeed the issue, should have read that first, from an update a few minutes ago:

"I am sorry about the shipping error, shipping to the US should be included with the price of the reward. I am working with Kickstarter the fix the problem. Thank you for letting me know. —Alain"

That said, I don't think I've ever seen KS go back and change prices to active pledges, so my guess is he has to create new tiers or relaunch.

This is beautiful. Please, please relaunch it with correct shipping parameters!!

ALSO: Maybe a two-deck early bird, hmm? Many collectors are going to want a pair, so that's seductive. Because you've made something that stands out so much from the /usual/ deck, you might also find greater-than-usual interest in the uncut sheets -- another early bird tier for those probably would appeal to many of us...

In short: cancel, promote, relaunch, best of luck!

He's updated it with added USA pledge tiers with no extra shipping but looks like rest of world is +$8 USD which doesn't match his shipping chart at bottom of page. Any non USA backer should message him about errors and suggest cancel, get shipping fixed, and reboot.

This is exactly the kind of theme and artwork I can get behind, love it. Glad you guys helped get shipping issues resolved with them, just sad I missed EBs. We'll just see if it can fund now, especially with early mis-steps.

Cartomancer is THE BEST from all Kickstarter projects this year. Very sad to see the level of "support". This deck is making the history.

I want to see less lazy superduperhypedecks and more decks like Cartomancer.

I wanted to let you know that due to the unforeseen event of Hurricane Irma in South Florida, Kickstarter has giving me the opportunity to extend my campaign by two weeks, the last day will now be Sunday, October 22 at 11:59 pm EDT.

This will not change the estimated delivery of March 2018.

Aw' man. It doesn't look like this one will make it. What a shame. I hope it's relaunched/or finds a way to production...

It still has 18 days to go and has already raised over $10,000 dollars in funding from 372 backers. There are a whole lot of decks that get funded for less on Kickstarter, so I would say there is a decent amount of interest in the decks. As has been pointed out, there have been a lot of decks on Kickstarter lately, so the threshold is going to go up to get funding. I think that is going to be a good thing. That said, this is a really interesting deck. I am in along with 371 others. We just need to get a few more folks to back it so it can be a reality. If not, I too hope they can sharpen their pencils and re-launch with a lower funding goal.

I like this deck a lot, and I just posted a cross promotion on my latest Lunatica update - I hope it will help to reach the goal

I wonder if it is slow to fund due to the lack of a limited edition. People really seem to glom on to all of the so-called limited decks.
I think they will be wildly disappointed when they don't get rich off of them.

My hunch says this will fund. It still has 18 days to go. Kicktraq data is incorrect which says it has 5 days left.
