I think this is my favourite deck of the lot.

There's good reason this was one of the top results in P52's 2021 Deck of the Year awards!

All of those (with exception of the last photo) are taken by the ultra talented Richard Arturo for theGentlemanWake.com website. I've already arranged to send him Successor prototypes because the photos he takes are simply spectacular.

I confess that I've been pestering Lotrek almost daily. Here is what he has said to me...

on FEb 26 He says "Wylentis were ready from Wednesday. I can only send them Monday Morning"
on Mar 1 I say "Did you send the decks?" No reply.
Four hours later I say "Do you rather have the names of the individual backers and send to them personally?"
He replies "Yes, that will save time." He tells me his gf was sick. Covid.
Mar 5th I write "I sent you a spreadsheet with all of the names and addresses... Please confirm receipt..." NO REPLY.
Mar 8th after more prodding he replies "I got covid too.... going to take care of the shipping this week..."
I wrote him again about other matters on Mar 9, 10 and 11th. no reply.
Today I see that he is active on IG I wrote again "How r u? Feeling well? Just wanted to check in with you. See how things are going?" No reply yet.

I hope he's ok. Obviously health is priority number one. I just REALLY wish he had handled this Wylenti problem much faster.

Its from the original campaign. lotrek took it/rendered it. I think its partially a render.

And I enlarged it to match the size of the other photos, so it did lose some quality in that process.

They are all fantastic photos ... and fantastic cards.

What have we here??

Oooooh numbered deck in the single figures. I like these a lot, probably more than Parlour.

Worth the wait? Yes. Definitely. Only thing not present was the gaff pack (which was ordered separately).

Again Omar, thanks a lot for doing much of the extra legwork, it's appreciated.

Box looks a little beat up. Hopefully the decks were intact. And did you receive the first order? What about the 2nd? Any word?

Yes this is the first order. Packed with a whole packet of Kleenex and half a ream of bubble wrap, so everything's fine in that regard. Like I said everything but the gaff pack included -- but I did order that perhaps too late for order 1. I did notice it was included in the PDFs you CC'd me on for order 2, so *crosses fingers*.

No word on order 2 just yet. Not trackable from AusPost or the international tracker site I use. But I'm patient. I've just signed up my PO box for another year (from April 1) so that's not an issue.

I got my Dynastinae edition replacement! And the number is very nice! 250/777
Now my question is: SHOULD I open this? It is quite the dilemma: as opening this one would mean I have two opened Lotrek's fancy deck - selling it for same price or higher would make it feel bad as you are selling the free deck

If I change the cello wrapping into an openable one, like a ziplock bag, is that considered opening the deck?

I am sure Lotrek has no problem with you selling it. It was his option to ask for the damaged deck back, seldom do any choose this option - you suffered the inconvenience of a damaged deck, had to fret, had to ask and wait for a new one - you earned a free damaged deck

As for removing those loose cellos on lotrek decks - I wish I had the guts to do it, but I figure that it is best to keep them as they arrived if I intend to sell them in the far flung future with the least problems - not sure if it matters if you don’t open the deck and put it right into a carat case - may get the guts one day…

Short answer is "No. Not yet." Slightly longer answer is "both the tracking websites I frequent say " It's not available in the carrier's system yet."" If I haven't received anything before Easter (for reasons listed below) I'll be in touch.

I know it's not quite the same, but an order from the States (that came via Holland) that was shipped on February 11 only arrived last week. UK-sent mail is taking up to 4 weeks right now. Basically if it's not Fedex from the States, you've got a long wait.

I received a stealth shipment from GW today. I received 4 Wylenti decks. I was trying to remember if I had purchased some of the extras or something when I realized I received only a partial shipment. These are my outstanding Wylenti decks, plus a bonus dusk edition. :D

Likewise, I received my two remaining outstanding decks, plus the "thank you for your patience" Dusk deck, which is awesome. I know I've mentioned this in the Watchdog thread today, as well, but this is a good place to close the loop.

Stick a bow on this project, it's done!

The black Midnight, gold Treasure, green Dynastinae and Prism decks ARE numbered.
The Ocean, Dusk and Wylenti decks are NOT numbered.

Hi
Bikefanatic is correct. To answer your second query:
The dusk and ocean have metallic ink
The midnight has foil
The treasured has foil and gilding
The Dynastinae has hot foil
The prism has hot holo foil

Only treasured is gilded here.

hi all! I recently (finally) turned on the product review functionality on https://www.thegentlemanwake.com. If you've ever purchased or backed a TGW product it would mean the world to me for you to navigate to the site and write a thoughtful and honest review about your product and the experience! Thank you!
