Officially - from Emmanuel - launches at 12:57pm EDT on Thursday (March 20th)! The project page for this deck is a labor of love by Emmanuel for weeks of fine-tuning, adjusting, listening and responding to numerous people having contributed their thoughts as well, and I think once everyone sees it they will recognize that it is head-and-shoulders above most projects as far as class and snap! Truly these are each a work of art (stating the obvious, really) and together make 52 pasteboards that you just can't do without...

This is an unbelievable deck for many reasons. The individually artistic cards, the incorporation of pips flowing in the artwork and the consistency of subject matter. Being someone who goes birding consistently and appreciates art this deck has even more meaning to me. My girlfriend and I have gone birding together for about 5 years now and she introduced me to the hobby which I now appreciate immensely. I show her decks on KS and ones Im going to buy and she appreciates the art but doesn't say much. When I showed her the video of the Clipped Wings deck I could tell she got bit. For the first time ever she asked me to get her a deck or two. Needless to say I will be purchasing an uncut sheet to frame in the bedroom.

For anyone wondering why the release time is March 20 at 12:57 pm EDT, it's first day of Spring and 12:57 pm is the moment the Vernal Equinox occurs for the East Coast.

Thank you everyone! I'm planning to launch the Sawdust campaign in the late summer/early fall (ideally after Clipped Wings has shipped). About 2.5 hours left before Clipped Wings goes live

Well I know where I be at 12:57 today. Few projects deserve more support, your art is always inspiring. Can't wait to hang that uncut on my living room wall. (You know that a playing card deck is special when my wife suggested that we put Curator in our most public room of the house )

Less than a day and already almost halfway there - that's fantastic! I'm in for two and I wish I could get an uncut sheet, but I have no room in my house, almost literally (and it's going to get even worse once my own kickstarter ends and I have 500+ decks filtering through!)

MagikFingerz, I considered offering a softcover version, but the sofftcover sizes were too small. The hardcover books are pricey to produce, but I'll be on the look out for more cost effective book producers in the future.

I guess nobody has really done such an affordable and not-as-limited uncut pledge level before, so we've had no idea about how many people are interested in uncuts in general. I agree though, I thought these would fly off the shelves even with the 200 limit.

Btw, this will be the first uncut I've ever purchased

I wanted my early birds to be fairly large in quantity and reasonable in price to give people adequate time to get them. More than 120 uncut sheets have been pledged for (this includes the add-ons), and it's only been a week.

Considering that this is only my first Kickstarter campaign and the fact that I'm not well-known outside the playing card community, the steady pace of the campaign is something I'm not complaining about
