I've decided to drop my Early Bird v1, v2 pledge for these decks, so if anyone here is interested in grabbing it PM me and we can try to coordinate a time.

Single of each, or mixed brick?

Of the V1 deck, the heart and diamond pips are orange. Is the v2 (green deck) pips also the same? Also the metal white Spirit is nice, don't know what I'll use it for...

The registration absolutely sucks on my decks. I'm really getting disillusioned with USPCC. I'll take a pic when I get home.

Interested in seeing it. Supposedly you start at Q2 printing, but for .50 more per deck you can be like the casinos and get Q1 registration.

Its clearly mentioned in their contract that they do not guarantee perfect registration.

"*This deck contains thinner than recommended borders. Registration variances will be much more noticeable in a deck

with thinner borders. By signing this contract, you affirm that you understand the variances may be noticeable in your

order."

I didn't mean to gripe at you, Gambler's. I'm frustrated with USPCC. Those are not thin borders (thinner than recommended maybe, but not thin by any means). They really should do a better job with that. I hope EPCC/LPCC gets more of their business.

Although it is not your fault that the registration is not perfect, you should have informed your backers that this could happen, and this is totally your fault.

Thats exactly what we had in mind (PrincessTrouble). Since this deck had thick borders so hopefully there will not be any issues but they add this clause to every contract.
Yes it is our mistake (sms69x) that we expected perfect registration from USPCC. That is one of the main reasons our campaigns are moving towards EPCC.

I would've never noticed if it wasn't brought up but I do check for physical effects and make sure all cards are in the deck.

The limited embossed edition came out with perfect registration and nice thin borders. The backs are a tad darker but I don't mind that at all. I'll let you guess which side the USPCC card is on. LOL

That is just a sad indictment on USPCC. It has been quite noticeable that more and more decks are going EPCC or Legends recently.

USPCC seem to be just too big to care.

Like others here have posted, I prefer the printing and the cards themselves produced by EPCC over USPCC.

But, ask any backer of Venexiana Dark if they think EPCC has a mortal lock on how things should be done, when it seems like a substantial number of EPCC/LPCC Kickstarter projects have either experienced obscene delays or, in the case of Venexiana, a complete failure to produce the corresponding uncut sheets for a project (forcing the project creator to scramble.) (I've also had a delivery issue with an LPCC project, which the creator is going to make up for out of his own stash.)

I look forward to the day when EPCC/LPCC delivers top rate, error-free projects in a timely basis, and I look forward to the day when USPCC figures out how to cut their cards as precisely as they print them.

In the meantime, here's to hoping the competition encourages everybody to continue to improve.

While I'm bummed about the cut of the USPCC versions of the decks (like Princess, I also ordered the embossed EPCC versions), its no worse than some of their (USPCC's) other decks, and I guess I just don't let it phase me. Royal Pulps are still a fun deck.

If the decks had white borders, the registration wouldn't be that obvious if it was messed up?

A fair question, and the answer is: no, it would still be just as noticeable. I have several USPCC decks with white borders (including bikes!) that are just as off as the ones PrincessTrouble showed in her previous post.
