I'm glad they were reasonable for international. They sure weren't for domestic! Almost $10 for 4 decks and almost $14 if you add one more. Those prices make me want to puke. And before all your international collectors get on my case for bitching about "high" shipping prices, I'd like to point out that I'm not addicted enough to this hobby that I would continue it if I lived in any country where it was economically unfeasible to afford. In other words, yes it sucks to live in a country other than America and want to collect cards but it's your choice to collect; just as it is my choice not to collect from TBC until these outrageous prices are lowered. I live in a country where I just ordered 10 decks from CPC and paid $6 for shipping. So why the hell is TBC charging MORE THAN TWICE as much for shipping for HALF the amount of decks?? That's a rhetorical question because there is no explanation that I will possibly accept except the truth- TO MAKE MORE MONEY. And if they're so concerned with wrapping everything nice and neat with 100 lbs. of bubble wrap, shipping confirmations and all that baloney, there should be a lower priced option for people like me who don't care about all that crap and just want their decks (at whatever added risk).

:deep breath:: Okay, rant over. FYI, I'm not just picking on TBC- there are many offenders out there but my order from CPC was bitter sweet. It was refreshing to see such reasonable shipping prices but it also frustrates me that other sites (like TBC) can't even try to come close. And in case anyone was wondering, I ordered my 10 decks Friday morning, got the package Saturday evening and each deck was flawless.

TBC is accommodating when shipping costs seem a little off. It just takes a little communication with them to get it straightened out. The last time I ordered from them I questioned the shipping costs after receiving two separate orders placed on the same day and I received a nice refund. I knew the packages couldn't be shipped together, so that wasn't the issue. The priority costs were a little high since they used boxes for one order and a flat rate envelope for the 2nd. They said I could always ask about a specific shipping method to find out the cost. Go for the flat rate small box or bubble envelope for smaller orders and shipping should be fine.

Thanks for the info. But that almost makes it worse. They know there's a problem, they've rectified it on an individual basis, but they don't fix the problem? That's either serious incompetence or, like I said before, a way to make more money. So they "accidentally" charge too much for shipping and only refund those who complain/notice? In my business (IT) we would say, "that's not a problem, it's a feature!" And that's the sense I'm getting here. Terrible.

I'm huge disappointed. 10% only decks? Last year 40% and all other crazy deals every 15 min or so.. and they call this their best deals looool.. what the hell man even their prizes are worst from last year...

Gotta give 'em a break. Brad's working on improving the Black Club - can't expect him to fix everything at once.....

another bleh friday....last years black friday was a big let down...so was this one.

Was there any cyber monday deal at T11 or E?
The David Blaine "release" of the Red Gator Backs seems to be delayed without any info. Was hoping for a nice deal at BF.
Some dealers had 15% off which was good but still nothing that made this a special black friday deal.

Gamblers Warehouse seems to me the winner with the most bargains.
The $60 mixed brick with GW produced decks was one great bargain. Thanks a lot!
Also the Silver Certificate brick deal was awesome.

In fact the GW Brick was the only playing card deal i went for.
The rest was at Threadless,Teebusters,TheYetee and Amazon.

The Cyber Monday Blue Crown sale was of course the one with the most % off (50%) but...
Do we need more Crown decks? Also devalueing the gold crown deck even more by giving it away at the $50 tier.
Pretty small range of available decks during this sale and the only ones i would like to had some more from were the white Aladdins.
At $3 a pre stacked deck with 2 build in effects....a nice overall design...hard to beat but no more decks in stock...too bad!!!

Summary : Went for the GW Brick and left all those housekeepers were they belong...in the shelfs of the sellers collecting dust

CollectablePlayingCards made it for me with the discount on the deck displays. Got the large one today, still waiting on the smaller one and a few decks. That is definitely my favorite retailer for decks, especially aftermarket. They pretty much have everything and reasonable prices, good to work with, etc. Well done.

Some of the others were worth jumping in for me as well, no complaints here.

I am un-sticky-ing this topic unless and until new specials are announced during the rest of the holiday season.

I recall the big prizes being won early last year, so I thought I'd try to get some spins in early. Rough wheel this year.

I dont understand, if they are not offering you wholesale rates, why should it matter ?! You should be allowed to buy as many as you want

Either they should have notified to customers or fixed their website so that transaction could not occur. But everything went smoothly before this email was sent for order cancellation.
