Will. Small typo. In that Twitter feed you state 3rd deck but this is his fourth deck in the series...

Emmanuel - Just noticed you're under Graphic Design. Jackson did that for awhile and switched to Playing Cards. Yes, Kickstarter made a category just for us. We are that big. Change it and lets see a nice up tick in your Kicktraq. People don't know you yet, but they will. You are semi-tran something. Other than that, you break all the rules, but you make it work. You are a step above an art deck. In fact, you are in your own category of playing cards. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/em ... cc-printed" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hi Everyone!

The Delicious Kickstarter campaign ends in a week, and for anyone who hasn't seen them, these are the images I shared in a Kickstarter update this past weekend.

These images show a glimpse of the art that went into the deck, and there are examples of art that I didn't use.

Like my other decks, everything in Delicious was drawn and cut by hand. I made the first card on January 2, 2014, and I completed the deck on December 29, 2014.

I hope you enjoy the images!

• Here are the original drawings of the Queen of Hearts, Queen of Diamonds, the Jokers, and cover art.

Image

• Here is an unused spaghetti drawing and the first versions of the 6 and 8 of Hearts (sometimes I create up to 4 different versions of a single card).
Image
Image

• Here are the utensils of of the back design before they were taped down, and a close-up of the final back design, which is made up of 244 cut pieces of paper.

If you are a backer, I hope to be able to share more behind-the-scenes art with you all, and thank you again for your support :)

If you'd like to check out Delicious, here's the link! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/em ... cc-printed" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just for shits and giggles can you change is to "Playing Cards" I think you are a now a $100,000 big dog. People just don't know what you have yet. You are close to your goal, but I would like to see a nice up tick past your goal for the last week.

Russell, thank you for the advice.

Let's spice it up a bit: I'll change the category right now and if the campaign reaches $20,000 by this Friday, 11:59 pm EDT, I'll give you a Delicious uncut sheet (provided the campaign funds) by way of thanks :)

I'm serious, this isn't an April Fool's joke.

Emmanuel - I see you are under "Playing Cards" That's a good thing. Actually, I don't collect uncut sheets. But I would like to buy 6 decks of your "Delicious" at a discounted price at the the 52+Joker convention this year. I know your decks will be more valuable in the up and coming years. I bought 6 decks from Jackson last year at the last convention. You guys should meet. :D He has a lot of ideas...

Why don't you buy 6 decks in the project and help it get funded!

You're right, I bought 3 decks. One to open and one to save. The extra is to give to a friend. I'll buy 3 more at the convention to sell. I see we are back at "Graphic Design". Good luck, but we know what that means.

Ok everyone, there's only 61 hours left to get this bad boy funded. Just under $2000 needed to fund. Let's all make sure it happens. I did the math and the project needs about 130 people to pledge or increase 1 deck.

I'd be utterly shocked if these didn't fund. As bitter as I am about the price this time around, it didn't stop me from pledging. And what makes me scratch my head is that all of his previous decks sell for above retail- here's a chance to not only buy this one at retail but also help get it funded. Assuming history will repeat itself, this deck could be worth more than the MSRP soon.

Despite complaining about the price, I've bumped my pledge. *shakes fist* Curses, you wily playing card designers! ;)

I've pledged for this deck, but for one I wish it wouldn't get funded, due the high price tag on this deck, for on the other hand, I love it and want to have it... I just hope other disigners don't follow this path, and start rising their prices, decks are already too expensive!

Really it's $15 for only 1 deck. If you consider the first deck to be that, each deck after is ~$11, so it's about average. I'm not saying the pricing is right, just pointing this out.

Most on Kickstarter are selling decks at high prices.

Not to mention this is a fully custom deck, each card had extra effort poured into it, not just the court cards like most. I really don't understand how it hasn't funded yet, I think it's far better than the last two decks and that's saying a lot since they were phenomenal. I know I've paid more for less in the past.

Edit... Looks like it's just funded!!! $24,123 as of now. And there was much rejoicing. *YAY*

Have to disagree with you. The value of his decks are just going to go up. They are somewhat limited for now. He has not made it in the big time yet; He is just getting started. He is like Jackson's total opposite in style, but yet both on the same path. I do believe his Kickstarter would have been better in the "Playing Card" category. Remember we have to beat 9 million because of "Exploding Kittens}" That is going to be tough one to beat, but really, who's art is better in the long run?

I am so glad these cards have been funded!

I too believe Emmanuel Jose will only gain more and more fame as time goes by.

These cards are extremely creative and collectible!

Anyone knows what is the linkage between all of emmanuel's decks aside from style and medium ? It was a survey question and it looks like there are goodies to be won ! Email him at emjose@gmail.com if you are a backer =)

My guess is his personal interests !

Or maybe it's growing up.

I've been debating the mystery item/companion item since he released the survey!

Yes, that sounds cool... no, that's $40... yes, it's Emmanuel so it's got to be something good... no, that's $40... ok yes, but only the mystery item... no, I don't usually get extras except coins and dice... but what if it's something really unique... yes, get the set... no, that's $40... aaaahhhhhh!!!

I saw the question in survey, but yes or no answer didn't seem to matter and I could not find his post that talked about it and prize. How do we submit?

IDK about DragonSoul, but I'm actually in CA. Also, there are package consolidation services available, could always setup an account with one and have your order sent there and they'll forward on to you overseas.
