As a biologist, I was often told to use the Day-Month-Year format and the metric system. I suppose the format of the dates is a matter of preference and neither is better than the other. But honestly, I think the metric system is much easier to work with than the Imperial system, since it's in multiples of ten and the prefixes indicate the multiple. How many grams are in a kilogram? The prefix "kilo" means "thousand," so there are a thousand grams in a kilogram. There are also a thousand meters in a kilometer. The Imperial system on the other hand... How many feet are there in a mile? 5,280. How many inches in a foot? 12.
I think we're the backwards one
EDIT: I use the metric system in certain measurements, but if you mention height, weight, or length, I still cannot relate to it unless I convert it to ft/in, lbs, or miles.

Yes, Sher is right. I used the day-month-year format.
It's a mistake, anyways: I'm using NYC time, and I should had used the USA format. Sorry!
Thank you for the suggestion, from now on I'll use 11/1/14!
Yesterday I fixed the KS campaign, removing MPC 4k goal. Now the deck will have a goal of 8k and printed by Expert from the start, on prismatic paper.

I'll just leave this here...

@magikFigerz - I will die knowing what I weight in pounds, but I do know the metric system is the best way. Teach the young to forget the old.

The US tried the metric system for a little while but it just doesn't make any sense. Lol. All depends on what you grew up being taught.

Naw, It makes perfect. Lengths and weights by the factor of 10. I'm to old to get a sense, but young can.

I don't think we can blame the metric system for being illogical when the yards/inches/foot/otters/bananas system is the way it is.

As someone that 'speaks both', nothing can be more confusing than "ounces" in Imperial measure: for one thing, there are fluid ounces and weight ounces. Huh? Extrapolate from there... 8 ounces per cup? 2 cups per pint? 2 pints per quart? 4 quarts per gallon? But 16 ounces per pound (abbreviated "lb"??). Now that's intuitive!

Hehe yes let's get back on topic
I attach the campaign I'm posting for the launch. Hope you like it!
There are some early birds available, single decks, double packs and early bricks! There are also few prototypes.
I'm also thinking to make a signature edition for this one, released a bit later during the campaign.
Very excited about the launch!!!

Quick info about deck prices?
Using the LPCC fullfilment center from HK would be awesome! Best interntional shipping prices and tracking incl.!

A single deck will costs $13, domestic shipping included (+5 shipping international)
The price will lower for more decks (for example, a brick is 120$ +25 for international backers)
I am using Lake Michigan Mailers for shipping

I WILL be pledging. I AM aware of the cool features of this deck.
Now i shall make only ONE negative comment....
I hate seeing the average price per deck on KS campaigns getting higher and higher. Seems like just last month it was only an $11 average. Le sigh.
ANYWAY.......... I am excite. Dibs on a duo pack EB.

Hmmm heavy pricings for a EPCC printed deck.
Thanks for giving us the prices ahead of time

Just another reason EPCC is getting backed up. Creators have realized they can make more profit on decks by charging USPCC prices.

I know it's a bit late to be fiddling with the KS page, but any chance your campaign will use the new shipping option feature where all shipping cost (US domestic and International) is broken out from the listed tier pricing?

Hi Stan,
actually I prefer to keep the domestic price with shipping included. Looks more simple (and clear) both for me and for the backers.

$13.00 per deck is slightly high for a USPCC deck, so its unquestionably high for a Taiwanese produced deck. Delirium better have all the bells and whistles on the tuck box at this price.
I kind of wish we can follow the model for the original UC Deck, remember that one? It had embossing, foil outside and inside, casino-grade Bee stock and only $5.00 per deck for UC members. For future Annual UC Decks, I'd like to see a limited pre-sale for registered United Cardists members at a UC-friendly discount, then a Kickstarter campaign at regular pricing with the UC member pre-sale proceeds already factored into the funding goal. This would reward UC members for being members by buying their own forum decks at a discount, as well as incentivize non-members to become registered members. This would also lower the funding goal required on the KS campaign to increase the likelihood of funding and success.

Thirdway Industries - I spy with my little eye. Any chance seeing your preview Kickstarter before it launches? We could find mistakes and give badpete69 a chance to to see what button to push when the thing starts. For some reason, he always seems to be there first.

I may post some "random" stretch goals or new rewards during the campaign. The name of the deck is "Delirium" and I hope the campaign will be a bit crazy too.
Hope it will be fun for everyone!

On the preview page, it says "Ships anywhere in the world". No additional cost is mentioned.
