I'm actually glad this cancelled. I like the design, I just don't think the business plan is making any sense (too many decks, not a high enough funding amount). I doubt I will be backing again but would look for them in the after market.

I agree, he should have let this one run on, likely to just scrape his funding goal, a relaunch with uspcc will likely see the prices increase, and hence a drop in pledges.

You can't "give sprouts ideas". That's like trying to give light to the sun.

On topic: Hopefully 3rd time's the charm!
I had no ideas only opinions.

@vasta41 - I've only been doing this for 2 years. Don on the other forum has more of a macro scope of playing cards. He is better qualified. Most of what he says is true. I have a pretty good idea of what the rules are, but I live to see the decks that break the rules and make it work...

So it seems we have hijacked this tread. Anyone for THUNDERDOME!!! Who can we get on there....

So I guess his plan to relaunch with USPC decks is out the window now that the 1000 deck runs are off the table. Which means his previous USPC-only backers won't be back and he may not get funded...again.

I was already planning on not coming back. There are just too many question marks and not enough answers.

It's all uphill from here. Regardless of the art, folks seeing this deck for a 3rd time are naturally going to think - "what's wrong with this deck, why won't it fund?"

Also, deck prices still too high, IMO.

After the update about going directly to the printing source, I'm wondering if he found the printer I used on my last deck... the 310 black core stock from Germany is a big hint.

Going to Easter Island could be a future travel location. In an airplane magazine, a replica Moai statue was $995 or more than that, it'll be crazy if that was an add-on on KS.

This project was looking questionable regarding funding, but it started trending in the right direction last week and looks like it will definitely fund. Now the trick will be to get the 3 decks made by USPCC and shipped to backers with the project funding goal. The creator boasted of his business skills... time for the rubber to hit the road.

Golly this deck just can't get a break. Back below funding goal.

Maybe 3rd time isn't a charm. If they can't make it happen they should sell the rights to someone who will. CPC and GW are having NO problems pushing out decks that aren't even as good as these.

If these were coming out through CPC or GW, I'd totally pick up a few. There were a few things that were said during the first campaign that made me a little wary during the subequent campaigns. I like the decks. Just... could use a little reassurances for this first timer.

2 double EBs, 2 triple EBs and 2 half brick EBs currently available.

As much time as I have spent with the creators making improvements on this, I'd be really sad not to see it fund :(

How bizarre, this deck was more than funded and has now dropped below the funding goal. They need $500 to make it.

Yea, he will make it. I wouldn't hack him if he funded the $300 himself. 3 tries and so close. Maybe it was a bad bulk deal behind the scenes. Who knows.

I don't know, I don't like it, something reeks. Why are people suddenly cancelling pledges? And where is the creator? He hasn't commented on the situation nor posted any updates regarding it. I'm out.

We have contacted the project creator for wholesale order so that we can add significant pledge to get it past 100 percent... Lets see if he replies within time or not...

Eddie is the man.

Maybe the creator needs to ensure there is a superman cape included with your rewards.

Cuz uh, you just saved his bacon.

To think of all the smack talk this guy was talking the first time the project launched.

Lesson learned I'm sure. One deck at a time.

After all the starts and stops I didn't continue on with a rather significant pledge from 1 & 2. Just started to feel nervous and felt I could always buy aftermarket.
