Hi All!
We wanted to thank you for backing the Manifesto and your support on the project. - Seriously we can’t thank you guys enough, you've been amazing and we’re excited for you all to be a part of this project and get your input on the card words. Thank you for all your nice feedback and compliments on the project as well as your thoughts.
We saw some posts about the metal seals vs early birds and wanted to clarify our thoughts. We saw both as rewards for supporting the project early on and rewarding backers in different ways beyond what we have done in past projects while rewarding as many backers as possible. One early bird option was the discounted pledge tiers that were limited where the reward is getting the deck at a discounted pledge amount and a second early bird option was the reward of one metal seal at no additional cost to backers for the first 1,000 pledging for two+ decks. We just thought early backers would choose which they preferred, the seal or the discounted pledge. It just isn't financially feasible to include the seals with every deck at no cost just like we have to limit the discounted early bird pledges. We tried to offer something for everyone and reward more backers than usual. We would have preferred to offer the seals to the first thousand backers regardless of number of decks pledged for but due to the added cost and all that goes into each metal sealed deck (managing fulfillment, application, production, etc.), it just wasn't feasible on the single deck pledges (coupled with the tractability issue – not knowing during the project who added on decks).
However, we have been working on the capability to be able to offer the metal seals beyond just the first 1,000 run since some of you and other backers were interested. Though we still want that first thousand to be a special edition. We’ll keep you all posted.
We're starting to plan the Artist deck series and getting really excited. Our intention with the Artist deck series is to make an artist collaborative deck that is cohesive across all cards. The inherent issue with having multiple artists work on a single deck is that each has their own style. Our goal is to have different artists but still have the deck look like it all fits together, through color, template, pips, theme, etc. One of the aspects we’re still discussing is related to the symmetry and if we should have all the cards symmetrical or since it’s an artist deck that doesn't need to be the case and they can be one way…what do you all think?
