Even a 3-pound / First Class parcel is $31.55.
Ah, for the general public without a weight scale, that would be true. For certain you're going to pay more for "First Class" than for the Priority Mail any more, as the USPS pushed "First Class" out around the middle of last year. It's the same thing looking up prices on their website: they don't show anything except the "flat rate" prices - at all, so I guess the bottom line is that unless you're a commercial shipper - those rates are the best you can get. (you don't even see the discounts for preprinting your own postage at their website) I'd hope DB Productions is a 'commercial shipper'.

I got a chance to talk to Bill at the Congress of Wonder back in July and he said he was still trying to convince David to go with EPCC (but it wasn't going to be happening with this deck).
Don't know what will happen with the next deck, but this one I loaded up on (not a fan of EPCC, but Bill mentioned an upcoming deck from CARC that suggests best feel yet, so I'll try those).
And 3 bricks, US, was $14.35.

They are charging like $38 shipping to Canada for 1 brick, and apparently up to 3 bricks, 4 bricks is like $44, something seems off with their shipping calculator!

Yep, the "Medium Flat Rate" box holds three bricks comfortably - or snug, rather. Two have plenty of room to breath, especially if you use the one that's less square. There are two medium FR boxes, one's 13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8" (which works for three bricks) and the other is 11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" - which really doesn't work well for more than two bricks. Then you get to the point you have to go to the large FR box, which isn't a whole lot bigger but costs significantly more. As DelMagic pointed out, unless you are a commercial shipper using a USPS-certified calibrated scale, you're stuck with the published prices, except if you print your own postage (as opposed to hand it across the counter as a postal facility and ask them to - gasp! - put postage on it) you're going to save 6-9% for the most part, a little more on the large FR box.

$52.95 in shipping doubles the price for me, and then I can easily add another 25% customs fees of the total sum + shipping. I'd be paying $12 per deck for these so I'll wait and see if I suddenly become a millionaire before I make up my mind.

Bike... $14.35 is the shipping price for the brick not the price for 1 deck

I think jerichoholic was asking
WHERE you found the stock number on the page.
Regardless, these are now sold out / promotion is over.

I think what people do to find this out is adding an obscenely high number to their cart and seeing what it corrects to.

My experience with international shipping is spot on with Mike's post. I shipped roughly 13 pounds and added insurance. The total was about $90. That was just under 5 bricks plus packaging. In my researching costs the nice folks at the Post Office explained that the flat rate doesn't make economical sense until you get over 20 pounds.

Strange to only sell in bricks at first. Can't say I've seen that approach before, but it surely worked because they are all gone. Guess I'll have to pick up a couple from someone privately, as I never buy a brick of anything.

Speaking for shipping rates... Lets say a US shop have free us shipping above 50$. (real free shipping , not just high price for decks/price)
You are int customer. How much you have to pay for shipping (if you have let say >50$ or >100$ order.)
- normal standart cost from Usps.
- Discounted cost (lower) for shipping.
I think i am right if i say that 2nd option should be applied? But sadly this is not the case...
And now for the topic.
52$ int priority for 12 decks ... its crazy. CC have 1/2 price for int 12 decks priorty.
