I will say though that is different than updating on the KS platform. I have no interest in watching his videos and I do not think it is an unfair criticism that he post relevant KS updates on KS versus forcing people to watch his videos. With that said, him not updating on KS does not bother me as I have trust in what he does.

Even if Jackson rarely updates, I am pretty sure he will fulfill, as this is about protecting your reps and name.

Are updates part of the KS agreement? It is necessary since not everyone watches all his social media.

I cannot see how Jackson can be criticized for not updating - just about every Wednesday of the year he does a Weekly Update video

Which I don't watch, and clearly many don't. Kickstarter requires that backers are kept informed. Also I will say that posting regular updates shows that you haven't just checked out of the project.

KWP has never been on top of the game when it comes to backer communication.
On multiple projects the level of interaction with their backers could even be categorized as poor.
Backers have little to fear, but KWP has a lot of learn.
