Not a huge fan of the "CorrupteD" style but I can certainly live with it

I know this isn’t the best time to post hype pics considered the mess wyrmwood created with the international customers and shipping on groundskeeper but these are really beautiful.

I wouldn’t say beautiful. But I would say I love them because they aren’t trying to be beautiful. They’re trying to be dark and forbidding.

What edition is that. (holo? I swear when Bobby ran down the deck list I heard it as hollow).

Honestly Omar you might try taking your name off the campaign. Dispel did after the earlier year drama (though that was after the campaign closed and all they had to do was manufacture dice and ship which they still did).

We know you are proud of the deck and probably should be (haven’t seen the deck past what you've posted to say) But you have already said you wanted to put beeltlebacks up immediately after which was already going to be weird optics.

I’m excited to see the other versions. I like this dark holo. Still nervous about WW but I guess I’m rolling the dice.

Emphasis on trying. Nothing screams dark and forbidden more than 🌈🦄. "It's not a phase mom!"

Since this is a Wyrmwood project, I guess there will be no decks post-campaign on your shop Omar?

I’ve been waiting for The Corrupted ever since Omar teased it but I have to say I’m worried. I would almost rather pass on the KS, have Omar obtain some stock and sell it directly on his website. I assume that’s not happening but at the moment that’s my preferred route.
Same boat here. I'll keep me fingers crossed that Omar is able to do that.
I can count the campaigns I supported on ks with one hand and it's never my prefered route anyways but after seeing how WW campaigns appearantly go - no way I go outta my way to back a campaign with their management.
I've been critical about TGW a lot but I can see that whenever Omar is in charge it's relatively smooth sailing - even when Lotrék printed decks are involved, haha.

(double posting this since it crosses two subjects)
Card campaigns finally made their video, thought they get distracted trying to figure out how to sell tables to china but most of it is about not having the physical cards for corrupted (and some light shade towards WJPC, but they also address the shipping situation briefly.

Thank you for recognizing that! It's funny, because if I do my job right no one will notice that I did it right. Only in the retrospect and in contrast to a not-so-well-done job does it become evident.

I can relate, for the longest time I considered my job well known if I had nothing to do most of the time. That means nothing broke and needed to be fixed because I made sure everything was taken care of before anyone noticed. Now they want "metrics" for everything with targets to be met and results.....its frustrating.

Leaning towards the row above the chips. Still deciding the four variants. The rest will be used for the prototype tiers.

I like them all except the blue/red which looks like it wants to be both and it’s not doing a good job at being either.

If they’re in edition order for that I like the burgundy one best.

My preference is the row above what you selected but I think picking one from each row might be the perfect way to get all. The brighter colours on the row you selected I don’t love but that’s my personal opinion.

Lel, spot on. It's my least favorite as well.
I'm not particularlly font of any presented option though. This deck will be one of the ones I get despite of the tuck and not due to it... 😐

I'm with Harv on this one. None of the tucks really appeal to me much, although the purple foil with green does look interesting. I'll likely get just one deck from this campaign as well, but it all depends on how I feel about WW.

My picks are 1 and 2 from the first row + 3 and 4 from the third row. I also quite like the white one on the bottom left.

I can only see myself backing this campaign if TGW is still handling the production and they use a decent printer.

Wyrmwood discusses the tucks. Still no date

I assume this linking is as borked for everyone else as it is for me

Not sure why the board is showing it this way

Code: Select all

https://youtu.be/MBcYH_nWhGM?si=L8DTS-oWRFIMxHIr

That last portion is a share ID and a way to add tracking to the link. I removed that first.
https://youtu.be/MBcYH_nWhGM

Then, I convert the link to a regular YouTube link by changing it to YouTube.com and adding "watch?v=" before the video ID.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=MBcYH_nWhGM

Then I added www before the website to finally get it to work.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBcYH_nWhGM
The YouTube embed code for this forum is unfortunately very limited. If I didn't put this text in code format, that was breaking the embed as well

“Sharing” link on youtube won’t work (https://youtu.be) - you need to use the full one, like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBcYH_nWhGM

when that is wrapped in the youtube display tag it will embed correctly.

Or, you can just read Kevoks post above mine, which I entirely failed to notice before posting this ;)

Thanks kvork I played with it for a few minutes with no success. I even opened it in a browser and then recopied it and reformatted then gave up.

All started as Gandalf guessed from the share button in the mobile app since that’s what I have access to this week.

I have to say they made some good selections. I likely wouldn't have chosen the purple and gone with the green myself but I can live with purple. I was really torn about the prismatic edition but both look nice.

Watching that episode gave me extreme anxiety. Choices are being made arbitrarily and with no regard for the aritist opinion let alone mine as creative director. Several times things were said or shown that were wrong. Both The twilight editions have cream backs. Only the chaotic and prismatic are black background. The fact that it took them 45 minute to discover that the stacks of tucks were not uniform was infuriating. All could’ve been solved with a call to me. But I wasn’t called. Probably because I’ve been voicing my displeasure with the way things are being run.
