They’re basically decks that lost their “homes”, so the Buck Twins do a charity for them by providing them new “homes”

Limme guess; some guys will make videos on youtube, unboxing them and will pull some “gems” from the past but real customers will get shelf-warmers, haha.

Mystery Decks 2024
https://www.artofplay.com/products/mystery-decks
No list this year, but they claim 7 exclusives. From the promo images:
Exclusives:
- New Art of Play brand deck.
- Vertigo Magenta (this is shown as an exclusive, but its available on Fulton's shop so idk)
- Frank Lloyd Wright's Midway Gardens
Not sure what the other 2 exclusives are.

Do the exclusives ever end up being sold as regular offerings?

They tend to end up as selectable items in Variety Boxes from time to time

Some of them showed up individually last year.

Once again, I won't gamble to try to get decks that I may want. Even with the exclusives, we haven't seen the cards so I wouldn't know what I'm getting. To each their own.

Agreed. It's a little fun and a neat thing they do every year, but I don't need random decks at this point in my collection. The decks from last year that looked potentially intriguing to me, were less so once we got a full look at them. On top of that, of what they've shown, only one of the decks looks intriguing to me ( one of the gilded decks, no name given but it's the one that's not the vertigo or ultimate deck in their video). So I'll be sitting this one out.

If you mean this one, it's a gilded version of the Grimmlore Tartan, and its available to buy on blackmarketdecks:

Yeah, that was the one. Standard courts make that an easy pass. Now I really have no need to get a mystery deck. Thanks for the link Manu.

I decided to take a dig onto the brick, although the results are a but disappointing…
Too many pulling of decks that AoP have released like years ago, and majority I already have (darn). Glad I managed to get White Overlook. Lucky Green and Pink, Dreyfus ALT Tuck box, and that AoP Branded Blue are not bad (Although for the AoP Branded Blue, I've already got them from somebody else long before). Sadly, The 69 Atlantic or the new AoP Branded fail to be obtained, because of one DAMNED "His Highness" deck.

Sorry to see that Laito. It highlights why I stay away from mystery decks.

If only there was one time, Mystery Pull events, there's at least "guaranteed to have" thing - that way, it gets your hopes up.
But I don't know... most of the time, it's all about luck: Some are blessed with exclusives, some are damned with dupes and trashes.
PS: like Please, Please, PLEAAAASEEE - Leave out decks made by "His Higness". I don't care if they are fulfilled by Art of Play, they just don't belong in AoP Mystery Deck. Having his decks in the pulls is one definitive evidence that "self-entitled guru" IS piggybacking on the success and legacy of The Buck Twins (in harsh words: friendship opportunitist)

If you don't want shelf warmer decks don't buy mystery decks. Pretty simple.
