The only two uncut tucks I have are the Ambassadors Black and the ICONS Anniversary. I used to have an extra Ambassador's Black uncut tuck, but I traded it to The Collector. When he got out of playing cards, he didn't offer me the option to buy it back. I tried to get it when it went up on ebay, but I was out bid.

The story on the Ambassadors Black uncut was that the card stock he originally purchased was too thick. Of course he didn't realize this until after he printed them. So, he sold a few of them to help defray a bit of his cost. I don't know about the others. Some of those that have been collecting a bit longer than me might know about the Macabre uncuts or any of the others. The Collector had some unique items from Lotrek on Silk. He probably did have some uncut tucks in that stuff. I know he had some of the plates. I think he sold all of his stuff on ebay.

I just checked my stack of uncuts and I don't see any Fable uncut tucks. I don't remember any being released, but that is not to say I either missed them, or they were sent out to certain people, but not through a general sale. I would say the same thing for Chronos Carmina.

I do recall reading the history behind the Ambassadors Black uncut tuck. I should have paid attention to that tactile feel of the thickness before I took mine to get properly framed.

I see a bunch of rarities were sold in October 2020, which lines up with when The Collector put items up on eBay, including the Ambassadors Black tuck. If that's the one you are referring to, looks like that's the one that is now in my possession since last week. I'm glad you still have another, although it was unfortunate you weren't able to buy the additional one back prior to it being sold. If it's the same one, I hope there's some comfort in knowing it's gone to a good home. The only other numbered one aside from ICONS Anniversary appears to be the Grotesk Macabre but I have not seen any pictures of it to confirm. The only one I've seen is the one from Kickstarter which points to it being numbered out of 25. Aside from Grotesque signature (possibly unnumbered too), the rest (Silk set, Liturgy treasure, Fable, and Chronos Carmina) appear to be unnumbered and not part of an official sale of any sort.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing those. My Uncut Ambassador tuck was 3/25, so if you have it I am thrilled it found its way to a great home. That was why I traded it to The Collector in the first place.

That appears to be the case. I'll have #03 ICONS Anniversary and #03 Ambassadors Black framed next to each other. I'm even more appreciative for owning it now

That's also why I sold him my Golden Oath prototype: he was really keen on having it and, knowing he had so much other Lotrek stuff, I knew it would be in good company.

Added another item to the compendium I continue to seek Lotrek related items from any collectors who are willing to part with them, knowing they'd be going to a good home. Feel free to reach out.

At some point, when I’ll have nailed all the missing unique decks, I’ll prolly need to ask you to purge my missing list from the tuck swaps, cause I’m not sure I want to go there and I understand there are quite a few in your master list.

I'll private message you a revised list that narrows it down to unique decks, and removes tuck swaps. It's tricky because Venexiana Signature has a hand drawn joker in each deck for example. You're more than welcome to ask me any questions. I left things like Fable Test, Golden Oath prototype, ICONS trial and demo in there since the cards are slightly different, but they can be avoided when prioritizing the final versions of each series.

Slightly different is important to me in the end.
I have the Fable Craft and the back is different enough to account for a place in the collection.
I’m curious about the Venexiana signature jokers because it would make the set immediately interesting to me.
You didn’t debate Arabesque Error though, which I found surprising considering it’s just a tuck swap with two errored cards, if I’m not mistaken. I’ll prolly get it in the future but so far I’ve been prioritizing other decks because of that.

That's true, there was a lot to look through in the list and I missed that one.

I have a complete liturgy set and I love those difference in paper used.
Also it can be seen in the picture the tuck difference when it comes to shine of the gilding.
I also love the Fable, the three variations in the back design are really interesting and overall I really like when Lotrek does different color permutations or gilding accents. Arabesque gold and silver to me are a prime example of that.

But enough fanboiing, thank you for your time. It really shows how much passion you have and it’s really inspiring although a bit taxing on the bank account

Thank you for saying that. It's rewarding to help others now that I'm on the other side of the journey. I can also definitely understand the taxing aspect of embarking on a Lotrek quest in this day and age.

I did understand what you're referring to in context, but what you're referring to as gilding is actually the foiling. Gilding would refer to the sides of the cards themselves, such as with ICONS Anniversary or the new Royal Silk Players decks. It's interesting that Lotrek is going the gilding route with players decks. From what I understand, gilding isn't all too costly, but a lot of other designers will use it as a reason to upcharge tremendously. It's nice to see Lotrek spoil us a bit in that way while we wait for his full-fledged foiled collector's editions.

Obviously not such a great home since it was sold soon after it was acquired I do think it is in a much better home now that Kevork has it

Yeah the seller was definitely upfront but that markup is insane. How much was the Teal retail? I know Sand was 35€.

I had to go back and check. The Teal Players was 40 euro each, while it includes shipping and is gilded, does seem a bit steep. I guess prices are just getting higher and higher.

I'm surprised these decks were priced so high given ICONS Anniversary was 20€ for Patrons. He must have his reasons.
