Ya know, this would be a good idea to be made as a prop in TGW’s study ;3
Proof me wrong, Omar XD

I wonder if these decks will be printed with USPCC, since it’s Kevin Cantrell studios (as most of KC’s Decks were printed with USPCC). Or it will remain with Cartamundi and thus create the first Kevin Cantrell’s deck with the company?

All of his former decks were done for Art of Play and theory11, both companies that have close ties to USPCC.
Omar did all his projects with Cartamundi so, I'd say this won't be an exception.

I can confirm that the plan is to print with Cartamundi.

Then THIS will be Kevin Cantrell's first cards with Cartamundiiii
Oh you really love Cartamundi, aren't ya Omar? I second to like Cartamundi, ever since USPCC had been terrible with scoring lately

I don't think the world is ready for what this deluxe box will be like. Kevin just sent me images.

How about this for now?
The left is the revised standard back and on the right the back that will be used for the Dynastinae and Rex editions featuring Successor Ambigram.

I would add "would not be confined" to the blank, bottom left banner pre-press; some folks have issues with one-way backs.
The Dynastinæ back is gorgeus, not gonna lie. I kinda dislike hard to read ambigrams and this one is on the verge to be hard to read, but it's a great touch to the back design. As is, best TGW deck back design so far - hands down.
The only thing I would change is the crown. It looks a bit to plastic and less royal (dunno how to put it better).

Agreed. At first glance I didn’t even notice the crown. Now that I really look, It’s got more of a Kilroy-peek-over kind of feel. Not too regal. But, maybe that is the point?

Artwork is being finished up. Still need to determine the exact colors but I wanted to share. Note that on the DYnastinae the black represents green foil. And on the black box the dark gold would be debossed while the brighter gold is embossed.

Liking the design more, bit I have to say the Ambigram doesn't really work for me. I keep reading it as Soccessos. They are very hard to design I'm sure.

After a year of development the Sculpture Metal Castings for the Deluxe Set are complete. Super excited for this. Think 'Standards' Deluxe box set on steroids.
Also ready the smaller sculpture to be featured on the white edition tuck case.

Currently debating how I’m going to approach this KS campaign. One of the stalwarts of KS campaigns is the mid campaign reveals. Stretch goal related. But with tempest I introduced a mega tier that would end up including all of the as-yet-to-be revealed items. It ended up selling out prior to even revealing the prism deck. But I remember there being quite a bit of controversy regarding if it would end up being “worth it” despite assurances from us that it would be. With successor the plan had been to simply reveal everything from the start rather than have stretch reveals but I worry that it will degrade interest in the campaign as it continues forward. What does everyone opine on this? Still unclear as to which way I’m gonna go.

I personally like the show-me-the-whole-buffet-from-the-get-go approach.
I would have maybe backed Parlour but most definitely Tempest if it weren't for your prior campaign design/management.

I like the anticipation of progressive reveals. I also like the idea of limited tiers and even an all inclusive tier. The only thing I would do differently from your previous campaign is set aside a limited number of each of the special items to be released as one per backer, first come first served add-ons. Maybe release each item initially in a special tier, followed closely by an opportunity to add on an even more limited number of the special items. I think that giving every backer the opportunity to pledge for any of the rewards (even if there are only a few of them and stiff competition) is a good thing.

As a veteran Kickstarter but new card collector I tend to grab some info before backing anything.
For instance I saw what lorenzo did before going oddest tier because I had faith the creator based on my own research.
For your campaign I would look at tempest and other info I can catch and would probably be ok with a bet based on that.
However it’s nice to see everything upfront.
It makes me pick my lane early and not having to shuffle addons for 3/4 weeks like some campaigns do.
Sometimes I get overwhelmed by tonnes of updates from campaigns and at some point I’ve just checked out and cancelled the whole thing. (NOC and Psychonauts come to mind for this)
I understand the excitement of unlocking things based on pledges. I dislike faking it based on pledges while everything just gets a planned release. Unless that was announced upfront.
Feels dishonest to me.
My 2c.
TLDR I like to know beforehand so I don’t get spammed to death with updates and having to juggle addons. Not to mention budgeting my Kickstarter funds for the month.
The excitement of unlocking things as the campaign runs is secondary to this.

I also like knowing everything up front but I understand why from the campaign side of things that it helps to maintain interest by revealing throughout the campaign. To be honest I can live with either approach. The one thing I do not like are mid-campaign releases that are limited in number. I really dislike those.

I don't mind having minor reveals throughout the month. I just don't like when there are limited and timed reveals for big additions. Like if you add a mini deck Midway through with no limits, that's fine. If you add a gilded hot foil deck printed by lotrek and designed by Lorenzo halfway through the month with a limit of 50 that I could get if I switch a tier and also at 2:35 pm Siberian time, then that kinda stuff annoys me. Also if you do end up revealing stuff not at all once, do it like odd fellows did it where we see some kinda progress meter that shows how many more things are coming so we know how many reveals there will be, not necessarily what they are.

I think the idea of an ideal campaign is an ever-changing things. Some ideas work better than others. Overall, I thought both The Parlour and The Tale of the Tempest packed good value. As we move forward, I am afraid shipping costs are going to bite more and more.
