nope. mine are all from the mixed half brick bundle.
i have seen someone open cherry on top decks, most of them were the standard midnight elixirs and some display decks (in white blank tuckbox). as well as a few gilded. this person ordered 12 cherry on top decks, so he got 4 gilded decks.

I did not order any of the Cherry on Top decks. I was too focused on placing my order of what I was expecting to see that I did not even notice them.

Same here. I was too fixated on the mixed half bricks and only focused on those. By the time I got my half bricks, I later saw the Cherry sales and saw they were sold out.
Also, how many half bricks / full bricks did you end up buying??

I ended up getting 4 half bricks, 2 full bricks, 6 uber rare decks, and 6 rare decks. Total was 5 bricks. Wallet took quite a hit but I got a lot of great decks for the price. Funny, at one time, I was really wanting to get the Magna Carta King James decks and having a hard time finding them. Now, I have quite of few silver and quite a few gold. Definitely, some of my favorite decks.
I am hoping to find time to open some of the decks from the haul this weekend.

Got my order today Overall I'm happy with what I got!
Cherry on top: holo gilded deck in a plain USPCC tuck
The purple-gilded NPCCD Room holiday edition...
...with a cat hidden inside too
EDIT: I had the "Goats in Trees" NPCCD 7th deck on my wishlist before, but the Plum Room works instead

The Magna Carta set was bought on the side and not through the Manor of Wonder sale.

Actually, I did get everything I was hoping for. I was just making a point that at one time I was having a hard time finding King James decks and now with this haul, I have quite a few. Very happy with everything I got from Alex.

I agree. The King James Gold deck was one of the hardest decks to aquire in my collection for some reason. I really love it, just wish it was differentiated from the silver edition by using gold foil embossing on the beautiful AOS on the tuck. Anyways, congrats on your finds. Looks like some real rare beauties in there. This was a truly special sale. I anxiously await mine today...

Which one is the King James Gold Deck anyways? I was confused by the naming and didn't know which it was. Photos are appreciated haha

I think both King John Editions had the same tuck with Gold AoS:

Here's what I got from the sale. Pretty happy overall I suppose, though I only wanted the sugar plums and the green NPCCD 2018 so the rest is trade fodder.

I'm disappointed I could not take part. I love Alex's work, but I couldn't justify $60 a deck (after currency conversion) at this time of year, but these big hauls have been GREAT.

I've been lurking here for a while now, but finally have something worthwhile (I think) to post. I managed to get a brick and half brick package from the sale and ordered some extra boxes to go with them. I'm happy to be able to add some beautiful decks to my collection, and while there are some others I was hoping for (that color changing cotton embossed Elixir comes to mind), overall I think this was an amazing result for a mystery sale. Thanks Alex, and hope you're getting some well-deserved rest!
Hmm...I thought i had posted this as my first post, but I guess it got dropped. I managed to score a brick and a half brick (along with some additional boxes), and I'm pretty happy with the results. While there were a couple of things I was hoping for (one of the color-changing Apothecaries would have been fun), overall I think it was a great score. Thanks Alex for putting the event together, and thanks for making such beautiful decks.

Welcome, HostileTraveler!
Your first post was just stuck in "approval limbo", as we get a fair amount of spam here so we need to manually approve someone's first post. No biggie, I kinda "merged" your two posts
Happy to have you here, and thanks for sharing!

I feel like the restrained one this time
Here is my haul from the sale. I am certainly happy, but could use some help figuring out what I actually got.

Since the labels at least are different on the 2019 NPCCD decks, I assume one of them is the Plum deck. What is the other one or which is which? I am confused. Nevermind, I did some Instagram and found out I have both the Snow edition and the Plum edition. Very cool. Now I have a truly complete set of 9 decks (seriously Alex. I love you but..)
Also, can anyone tell me what Magna Carta decks I got. One says silver and the other gold. Both say "King John Edition" on the other side. Are these gilded or ungilded? Ah, nevermind. I did some more research and the King John Editions, were the gilded decks. Heck, now that I really read the label it says "gilded". I need my eyes checked again. YES! I'm super happy to have those beauties!
I was kinda hoping for a green 2018 NPCCD, but I guess I got a prototype, so I am happy anyway. I kinda wanted one of the experimental Elixir decks, but with purchasing only one half brick, I limited my haul. Still, very happy.
I also went back and picked up five boxes. They weren't free, but at $10 each they were close enough to free. So, here were the boxes I got. For $50, plus shipping that was a deal. I have plenty of Seasons cards I can put in the boxes.

Thanks for the sale Alex. I am glad it was a great success for you. It looks like you have a lot of happy customers, which is crazy great given it was a mystery sale.

I was thinking the same thing, but it doesn't seem to react to anything I'm doing. However, it's labeled as (I think) a prototype where instead of #/500 (or whatever) it's A/P so maybe those don't have the same ink used? No idea.
Or - alternate theory - I'm actually dead and don't know it, like a crap version of The Sixth Sense....

TheGentlemanWake actually did a good deck review on the color changing aspect of the cards. It often takes a bit more heat than just touch can do to get it to really change color. He used a hot camera battery to get the colors to change.

That's still a color-changing prototype. There's some nuance to a lot of my stuff that (totally my fault) I haven't communicated. It's an ink that changes color based on a specific temperature and based on which side of that inflection point you're on, you'll make it turn one color or the other which I think most people get. But how far you are from the inflection point (temperature of environment) is something people may not necessarily notice out the gate. If you're in winter and your hands are colder or your room is 65 (where I encoded the ink at 79) it will take longer for your tuck to warm up to reach that inflection point for an immediate reaction. It doesn't mean it doesn't work, but it wasn't immediate.
I remember someone getting these in summer and not being able to change it (because it was already hot) and then once they brought it to their basement they saw the deck change cool. Only when the tuck cooled down to close to 79 was he able to touch the deck to bring the ink from the cool side of the inflection point to the hot side rapidly for immediate effect.
TLDR; Basically there's a temperature sweet spot for how "speedy" you want the color change. It will always change but it may take longer based on the room temperature, your hands, and the materials. (The cotton prototype decks will be a different speed of change than the white label decks in the same environment).
P.S. I still like how timeless The Sixth Sense is to be mentioned 20 years later.

Thanks for the additional information on the ink. In my case, where I live is currently a frozen wasteland, and I keep my house fairly cold (67) so that would explain me not seeing anything from a cursory touch or two with my only slightly warmer hands. When I get back from traveling this week, I'll have to experiment a bit with my (hopefully not dead) hands or maybe I'll get one of those flamethrowers that Elon Musk was selling. Or maybe something in between...

Really similar haul to Brad's, actually. I got the mystery half-brick and added three Cherry decks. I am really excited to start my Seasons collection this way! I was definitely hoping to see one of the deeply-engraved cotton tucks of the Ponderings, so I would be open to trades or perhaps I can complete a Magna Carta set now. That mural feature is fantastic!
Cherry decks netted me two display decks of the NPCCD 2018 style and a purple gilded Sentiments.
