I guess trying to be positive, it is an update and apparently an intention to move forward. I like her work, but I didn't back her last project since there are so many unfulfilled projects of her I have already backed. I hope she gets the decks finished fairly soon and can get back on track. As noted from the tone in this forum, there are a lot of broken fences that need mending if she is going to move forward after this. I wish her luck with it.

I can't remember if I've backed any of her previous campaigns, but I definitely won't in the future. From the update, it seems like she's learned nothing from this experience. I don't want to back someone's campaigns whose introspection and ability to reflect upon their own actions is basically zero.

NOT TO MENTION am I the only one who thinks she's the one who effed up here and sent USPCC the wrong files or whatever? Seems like a user error to me but hey, I'm obviously biased. I cannot wait until I either get my refund (which I've asked for 42 times via KS PM) or my Crazy deck so I can sell it off and be done with this abominable woman.

Still radio silence on that campaign but she sent essentially the same update on the Muertos campaign as the Avalon. Maybe the Crazy deck has different issues?

USPCC (Muertos decks) AND LPCC (Avalon, Last Legion-no update there btw) both got f-ed up files??? Doesn't she ask for digital/physical proofs? One backer was going to file with FTC so we get this hollow update.

I’ll believe it when she posts a picture of thousands of defective decks... I will continue to assume no decks were or will be produced until I have the deck in hand. I suspect she posted this update to either avoid a lawsuit or to build favor before launching another scam deck as maybe she ran out of money...

Hmmm pushing the blame and avoiding to backers question that's a good sign to see........

Exactly this. Every half reasonable printer gets you to sign off the pre-press artwork for printing. If you sign it off they print irrespective of whether there are typos, color changes or random art all over the place - you take responsibility for checking and approving BEFORE production.
Reading between the lines, I'm guessing something happened during prepress and the artwork got modified, but was then approved. If the printed decks deviated from the approved pre-press I don't see how USPCC would argue at all (but hey, could be wrong...).
That said, Natalia's attitude here is completely out of line. If you don't bother updating the backers for months you can't expect everyone to sanguine.... Sometimes these designers/creators make it SOOO much easier to decide which projects to back

I'm going to file a complaint with the FTC by the end of the month if there are no meaningful updates from Natalia. Saying that she is also waiting only works for so long. I suggest that anyone in the US that feels the same way should also look into this avenue.
A new comment left by Ausha yesterday:
Now that the US gov't is open again, I'll be submitting my complaints on all of Natalia's open projects that I've backed.

The standard versions of this deck were supposed to be delivered according to the original schedule on May of 2018. So at the end of this month, this project will be a full year late.
I have accepted that I am never going to get the deck I pledged for. I am not sure if when Natalia first launched this project that she had the intention of scamming people, but sure as hell any intention she might had had at some point to fulfill this project is long gone.
She is a scammer and I hope that the legal system in the USA will make her pay for stealing our money.

As much as some people like to call Victor (@jerichoholic) a ranter, I think he's doing a great job spotting and preventing people from backing any Natalia Silva KS projects that are doomed to fail from the very beginning. You have to give him credit for bringing out the prophetic voice on KS in terms of this particular cosmic-scale scammer.

I haven’t done a google translate, but I am guessing that was cursing in Finnish.

"Up yours, Natalia."
In Finnish, that's particularly nasty to a Russian.

Roop, have you got a Ouija board handy? I think we need to talk to Simo Häyhä.

Do you know if she sold the rights to the design? Who in their right mind would do that? Well Becopo might, but they wouldn't pay for it.

I think this makes it pretty clear-cut.

Thanks for sharing that. However, in reading her response to specific people, it looks like the Christmas deck design she sold the rights to, which she did. Her reply to Richard further clarified that she sold the rights to that Christmas deck. She didn't say anything about the other projects, and just scampered off.
Where are my decks Natalia? Where is my money?

Maybe it's my training, but I'd say being asked directly about multiple outstanding projects and then replying directly "not my project, sold the rights" makes it pretty cut and dry.

Just went to check the project page, and KS now returns a "page not found" message. Have they ever done that before with a dead project?
UPDATE: I added /comments to the end of the URL and that loads okay, so it seems the base URL has been taken offline.

Same issue with her other two scam projects. Clearly something is going on.

Actually, same issue for ALL of her KS projects, even the ones that shipped just fine (remember those?)
I am sad. I had held out hope that she would eventually feel the call to return to the fold. Instead, she has found a way to sell to Murphy's and others and has apparently abandoned the idea of trying to make good on these outstanding projects.
Thing is, I like her designs. But, I can't even buy them from Murphy's, because I don't want any more of my money to go to her until she makes good on what I've already spent. She has clearly given up on ever fulfilling those many projects she orphaned.
Grrrr.
