I probably have a severe case of collector bias here but what i think is exactly " woohoo, i only expected 2 decks. this is awesome."
I would be even happier if he managed to pump out a 4th decks as long as it's not just Recolors and excessive gilding.
Maybe our expectation/ collecting styles are with much differences but a deck with back change + Ace Change and whole tuck designs change can be very much counted as a different customized deck and i won't have an issue with more than one edition, unlike the lazy approach where everything is kept same except color swap. Don't want to jinx it though as the previous Ocean campaign had some of those gilding and stuffs already, i hope this one stay cool like this.

i get it and i used to be this way. i have just gotten to the point after years of collecting that i would rather know at the beginning of the campaign what is or potentially be available instead of adjusting pledges and expectations, especially when you have 5+ campaigns pledged for at a time.

with certain creators, i also feel the more decks the better because they usually don't do just tuck or color swaps. Although, same courts across a series of decks is pushing it. There actually is a 4th deck =P, you just have to be a patron to get it.

Sir Octo was my favorite out of the three on Patreon, I just feel there are rarely a good kraken done on playing cards. This one speaks to me dearly.

Besides the colour combo my favorite one so far. Love me some octopus.

Shark should as well be put on decks as often as octopus [not suggesting Shark as another variant for Odd Fellows - I aint encourage]

Been trying to add Sir Octo on for 20 mins on 3 different browsers & 2 different devices. Getting "Sorry, something went wrong" error. Effing KS... Anyone else?

Kickstarter add-on option or change tier function is fricked up by shipping destination issues, can't do anything now. I noticed that in the add-on option the Octo deck doesn't have a shipping fee compared to the other two decks so that might be on the project creator's end?

Also hoping that the new Trifecta tier price doesn't make the Early Bird tier obsolete... That would kinda lose the purpose of having an Early Bird during day one at all

My best guess right now is that it has to do with any time-released function with the KS platform. The add-on and EB were time set. I will be manually adding everything in the future to hopefully bypass this current glitch. It looks to be sitewide as our brick box tier also opened up early (we've closed it and will open it this weekend manually). This being said we've heard that some but not all that were EB were having this problem (which is even harder to pin down a diagnosis). Sir Octo should have a shipping fee of $2 dom/$4int.

Basically our next steps are to see if this is just a temporary glitch or a long term one and create replacement add-ons to see if that helps or replacement tiers. Obviously this is not a glitch we had anticipated but are working hard to get this figured out with customer service.

Alex, it might be a good idea to make a quick update of the situation now instead of waiting Kickstarter to fix itself with time. People are increasingly reporting the issue and without a quick note on this might escalate to strong reaction towards the creators.

This issue sucks ass. I just want an effing octo deck. So annoying.

I like the octopus but the best ace of spades so far to me is tibia. Considering I’m oddest fellow this will be a fun ride to see the other stuff.

The price is updated: Sir Octo is for 21$ with additional fee of 2$ for USA domestic and 4$ for international

I do a quick calculations [in this case, for me, deciding to add up a coin and shipping to Indonesia]
EB Couple Odd Fellows + Coin + Sir Octo + Shipping
21 + 9 + 21 + 19 [15+4] = 70

Odd Fellow Trifecta + Coin + Shipping
44 + 9 + 17 = 70

Conclusion: The EB price is still valid - I think people can change to the Trifecta if they wanted, but if the EB people can add Octo as an add-on, there shouldn't be any problems at all to stay put

looking at the Odd-o-meter, i am looking forward to alot of cool trinkets including a custom brick box, can't wait to see how the brick box turned out to look like!

I've gone ahead and replaced the add-on and the Trifecta tier that were scheduled in and manually pushed duplicates into the site. *In theory* this should make everything easy breezy now. We've yet to see how any backers affected in the EB tiers work with the replacements but I have my fingers crossed. That said I'll manually be pushing everything else for the rest of this campaign to ensure that we don't encounter the bug again.

i have the early bird tier and i just added the sir octo. it is kind of confusing though. when you click the manage pledge button it does not take you to the add on screen. it shows all of the pledge tiers first and you have to reselect the tier you already have, EB in this case. then it takes you to the screen where you can add on the sir octo deck. presumably, if you select the sir octo on the first screen, you are changing you pledge from EB to just a sir octo deck tier for $25, even though it kind of looks like you are just adding the sir octo deck.

i suspect youll probably have a few that contact you because they mistakenly lost their EB tier thinking they were adding the sir octo deck.

Tonight, 52+Joker suppose to have Lorenzo feature the annual deck. Is it one of these Oddfellow decks or something different?

I think it will be a different deck.
I have a dilemma. The deck will go live around 3-4 AM my time. Do you think there will still be decks around 7-8 AM? Or I should wake up in the middle of the night to secure my decks?

At 8pm edt will begin the event for the reveal of the deck and right after the event the deck will be on sale on the 52 plus joker website for members.

You can change to Trifecta. I’ve done the calculations and it should be the same as EB with Sir Octo addon
