I only got 2 of the Golden Rule. I wish the Silk players/ Redemption decks were also available so it all can be in one package.

Lotrek, Patreon, April 20, 2023 wrote:1st Year rewards are:
SILVER PATRONS:
Royal Silk Red Edition x2
Royal Silk Red/Silver x1 (gift deck)
GOLDEN PATRONS:
Royal Silk Red Edition x2

MANIC PATRONS
Royal Silk Red Edition x2
Patrons deck x4
Royal Silk Red/Silver X1 (gift deck)
ASYLUM PATRONS
Royal Silk Red Edition x4
Patrons deck x8
Royal Silk Red/Silver x1 (gift deck)
PATRONS deck is -as you know- already printed.
....the rewards for year 2 should be ready end of June to early July 2023. We are already preparing the printing for The Golden Rule Patrons edition which is expected to begin next week. The deck, if you remember, is the same with the Players Edition but with gold foil on both sides of every card. Next week we aim to do the offset printig for the deck. ... The additional deck for tiers GOLDEN, MANIC and ASYLUM will be the ROYAL PATRONS for which we will post pictures after we finish with 1st year's rewards. The only I can say for now is that the deck will be -like Golden Oath- printed EXCLUSIVELY with foil, specifically 3 foils: Gold, Silver and Red.

• Redemption Series Vol. I - Royal Silk Red Test Print (1/385)
• Redemption Series Vol. I - Royal Silk Red Gold/Silver Test Print (1/180)
• Redemption Series Vol. II - Oath Standard Players Silver (1/410)
• Redemption Series Vol. III - ICONS Anniversary Premium Edition Test (1/580)
Yes, there is a different tuck in the box. The redemption tuck is an oversized tuck to fit a normal sized one inside of it.

Sanctissimus, a Byzantine inspired deck
In other news, Golden Rule has been shipped to Deallez and WoundedCorner. If they then ship immediately, we should start getting tracking info this week the earliest.
As of now, Codex Kickstarter expected July 8th.

I sincerely hope the Kickstarter campaign is going to not be launched until the Royal Silk and Patreon rewards have actually been shipped.
I'm fine with delays. Totally get it. But, you know... fulfill earlier commitments before making too many later commitments, and all that....
I get a sense from the proposed timing that this is the PLAN. But we all know how plans sometimes go. D'oh!

I am always fascinated by Lotrek's plans. Maybe it is just my mindset but I would be working quadruple time to fulfill all of the outstanding decks from Year 1 and Year 2 as quickly as I could. Maybe there is a money issue at play but who knows. Most creators (unless well established) won't launch a new project on Kickstarter until the previous one fulfills given how that looks to the community. The way he is currently handling his projects looks like that to me. I imagine I has soured his work to some.

I will say this: when you print a batch and you need to let it sit for a few days to dry/cure/whatever before you apply the varnish or embossing or whatever your next step is, it totally makes sense to fill that waiting time with doing productive work on other projects. I'm not in any way bothered by the fact that he's working on more than one project at a time.
And, as a fellow creative who also has hyperfocus tendencies, I completely understand and respect the focus-on-this-project-stop-now-focus-on-that-project drive. And, I know it can drive more linear or less hyper-focused folks wonder, "why don't you just do it in order, the way *I* would do it?" (Not casting aspersions on you or anyone else, Fenrir, because I totally get it.)
I'm not bothered by his announcing his intentions for future projects. It's nice to get a glimpse into what comes next. And we all know he's working on new designs and is even at different stages of development for some projects here and there while waiting for the varnish or the cutting or whatever on the decks he's trying to finalize.
At the same time...
I'm simply expressing my desire that he drives a few of the longer-outstanding projects all the way across the finish line before I pony up a down payment on the Next Big Thing. That's all.
As a writer, one of the things I've had to learn is that at some point, it's time to stop polishing the story and just send it out already. If you don't send it out, the world never gets to enjoy it (or, perhaps in my case, line their birdcages with it.)

I totally hear you and understand. As another hyper focused individual I throw everything I have at something until it’s perfect. That being said maybe my starting point is just different and that’s okay.
For me, my obligation to anyone who has supported me financially has to come first because I understand the ramifications of not proceeding that way. Maybe it’s years of working as customer service as a kid but I know it’s 1000x harder to restore trust then it is to just maintain it from the start. To me, when an expectation is set to receive something and other things get prioritized or leap frogged ahead of it leaves nothing but a sour taste.
I have no monetary stake in this game. I have a few Lotrek decks and they are all from when he did custom courts. I appreciate how innovative Alex is and the hard work he puts in. It’s simply the order of operations that doesn’t sit well with me, as an outside observer.

The irrational part of me things these new decks are taking up printing time from unfulfilled decks. It's probably not true but I can't help but think it. Like, let's just get this easy quick print out of the way before returning to the more complicated deck kinda thing

The issues seem to be with the foiled decks, especially ones like Royal Silk that have over ten printing plates involved and need to be lined up perfectly to ensure proper registration. I'm inclined to think Lotrek is pretty quick when it comes to the standard decks, so it all depends on how extensive Codex/Sanctissimus and various other projects are. Keep in mind Codex has been teased for years and is finally coming into play. We just got teased Sanctissimus for the first time so it's unclear when that'll become more concrete. We have yet to hear what the Year 3 rewards will be as well.

I think it's likely he'll ship some Patreon rewards before the Kickstarter starts. I also think it's very likely that Codex Kickstarter won't go live until well after July. November would be my guess.

I understand posting on IG to keep up your engagement but still not excited since 2 years of rewards still haven't been delivered (but coming close). Too many "being late" jokes are getting old.

Email from Lotrek wrote:GOLDEN RULE decks are since last Thursday in Wounded Corner for USA recipients and Deallez for R.o.W.
Packaging has begun and as soon as your order is shipped, you'll get an email with the tracking number.
We are also shipping a few packages with large orders from Greece, so some tracking numbers will come from us.
It took a bit more than expected because we had a few days delay with the tuck cases and also with cello wrapping and then about a week for the decks to reach USA and Germany...
We can't wait to hear that you've started getting the decks!
Thank you,
Lotrek

Are these the Patreon Golden Rule decks from Year 2 of Patreon or a different version? Also, is the Royal Patrons deck ready along with this one if it is the Patreon Golden Rule deck? I no longer get the Patreon email updates so am just curious. I did see someone post above that the Patreon decks from Year 1 (Royal Silk and the Patrons deck) have not been shipped. Thanks all.

This would be the Players edition of Golden Rule that is not foiled and was released a few weeks ago out of 900 for both patrons and public. The Year 2 Golden Rule rewards are not yet finished.

These are the general release Golden Rule decks. The Patreon version has a red stock tuck.
Remember, Lotrek did say that the target for shipping Year 1 stuff was end of May, and June to early July for year 2. TECHNICALLY, we're still on pace for that timeframe and seeing this email lets me believe that he is likely to post a Patreon update in the very near future.

As double_left said, with 900 out there, they should be readily available once they get delivered. These are not the foiled version and were sold for 18 Euro each, so they shouldn't be too bad even on the secondary market.

I guess it is an industry first like a deck to apologize for not producing other decks.
Yes I aware this comment is salty and that I still have no stake in the game. I always like when Lotrek tries new things as ultimately everyone else copies but I would literally rather see anything else other than another apology deck.
