Think about this: a steak well-done is never a steak well done.

Put a piece of Gardner's Wisconsin Garlic Baked Cheese in a buttered biscuit. Perhaps the greatest thing I've ever tasted.

I don't collect Legos, but that looks pretty great. How much does something like that go for?

Santa brought me a lego set of a Yellow Jeep Wrangler. (It's a two-door; I own a four-door.) Looking forward to building that as soon as I finish the Tigers jigsaw puzzle from Kings Wild Project that Santa had also brought me.

has been good to you. Take notes kids, that's what you get for being on the nice list.

The set will have around 1920 pieces so I'd guess a retail price of $180-$200.

Somehow, I got screwed out of an Amazon pre-order in which they claimed there was only 1 quantity available.

Spawn Origins Deluxe Vol. 5 S&N. I'm just going to buy it via eBay. The only reason I went the Amazon route was because I have a $25 gift card.

Well, those I remember as well. Good times.
Went out yesterday and had some Canadian Sours. Those were great, too. Basically Whisky Sours but made with Lot No.40 Canadian Rye Whisky instead of Scotch or Bourbon. First time I had rye whisky.

In my film session with buddies I watched Knock at the Cabin as well. I'd recommend it for fans of thrillers. Although I have to admit that after the plot is revealed to the protagonists and audience, the suspense drops off very much.

I keep seeing an advertisement for gin on social media. I'm not a gin drinker, but this "Casino Cocktail" sounds awesome, I wanna find a local place that makes 'em.

βThe Casino is actually is a pre-Prohibition classic, first published around 1909.β
When it comes to Gin, a rather unique one is hendricks - very floral - might be interesting here

Today someone learned, "what can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence". Well, he was told, "learned" TBD.

That's like the marketing claim of almost all gins, haha. Dunno about the States but here in Europe gin had a boom in recent years. Everyone started to make it. And everyone claimed theirs is unique.

Well I donβt make it or own stock in it, but its good stuff and worth a try - I do admit that my claim of uniqueness comes from comparison to your standard gins, havenβt tried many of the new blends. I do have a nose for good booze though, and I will recommend it still
I have tried a fair number of Sake recently, and another loose lipped but well deserved recommendation would be Kenbishi Kuromatsu Honjozo "Black Pine"
The nose on this extremely famous Honjozo from the brewery that calls itself βThe Oldest Brand Since 1505β is a dynamic collection of steamed rice, cocoa, maple syrup, and noughet aromas. The distinctive labels shows a sword tip coming at you just like the deep, rich and full-bodied flavors come right at your palate. This brew is dense and thick and feels great in the palate. Look for savory and sweet rice flavors that flow on a fat liquid that is excellent for warming. Dig deep and you find a layer of cocoa tones and even deeper you will happen upon a cream brulee flavor that is out of this world. Truly one of the classic Honjozos that every sake explorer should try at some point. WORD: Rich WINE: Deep Reds/Fat Whites BEER: Stouts FOODS: Perfect for pub food salty and savory and greasy, also soup and stews when warmed.

And at the other end of the spectrum Hakutsuru Sayuri Junmai Nigori
Japan - Sayuri means "little lily" a perfect description for this soft floral-noted Nigori. This unfiltered sake has a very light nose filled with lush cream, cherry blossom, and light fruit. Semi-sweet palate with a very smooth finish.

After seeing all the extra bits Lego has done for their sets like flowers, leaves, plants, etc. I wondering how is the experience of putting it all together for larger sets and how it looks worth it? My 8 year old has a few of these, which I've stepped on enough times to make me wonder if it's really all that necessary.
I can only imagine the LoTR Rivendell set!

I made a custom Lego "Star Wars" ship back in the day and wish I still had it. It was the coolest. Had concealed missiles under its wings.

Worth it is very subjective. I'd say yes but I'm a brick nut so, don't listen to me.
