I happen to like limited decks. I like large production numbers as well. I'm not entirely sure where my collector dopamine hit is going to come from next, but I know that it happens and it's not always predictable.
There are elements of this campaign I love. A couple I love. A few I don't care for.
What I do absolutely LOVE is how engaged with this community TGW is. Probably more patient and understanding than I would be about discussions that in my opinion have dragged on ad nauseum. I didn't get Parlor. I went all in on Tempest. I'm on the fence on this one. All three are and will be a success and what I am convinced of is he will continue to learn and improve.
Overall my feeling is that TGW has been a positive contributor to UC and the wider playing card community. For me and my hobby/obsession that can only be a good thing.
Completely agree with everything said here.
Let me join the chorus: we all sometimes disagree, and there is VERY LITTLE that *everyone* here can agree upon (other than, like, we enjoy playing cards for whatever reason), but I absolutely love, love, love that we get to engage in talking about our bizarre hobby with other enthusiasts here, including designers, producers, retailers, brokers, commentators, uncommon taters, and enthusiasts such as myself.
I love that Omar continues the discussion with us, and that other designers and producers are chiming in (like Jackson and Lorenzo and Randy, et al). And, I will note like others have mentioned above, I was intending to sit this campaign out, but through the discussion here (along with the images Omar has shared) I've decided that I *will* be adding these to my collection. While I will not be pursuing the Prism (as much as I very much want to have it in my hands), I've come to a peaceful place where I am okay with letting it go.
(Although, Omar, if you are ever feeling generous with any, er, production overruns, I wouldn't mind if you considered me worthy of adding to your short list of people you might be willing to make an arrangement with. Ahem.
)
But, cereally, folks. I love this community. Even those who are perhaps a bit more, well, abrupt at expressing your disagreements than is absolutely necessary.

Shifting back to the cards rather than the campaign... Can we see the improvements to the black deck?
Looking forward to these, as well, although I know we're in good hands.
