I think that the only Lego sets I own are a Darth Vader and an Iron Man, both action figure-sized.

That's way too few.

Besides cards and Lego I do collect Lego ephemera as well. I got some 2020 catalogues lately and oh bwoi...
Let me say first that I like Star Wars, as a popcorn franchise. It entertains me but I wouldn't call myself a fan. I never went to the movies and just watched them either online or on tv. Lego Star Wars is out for ages and there are literally hundreds of sets released - I own of them. But now I found this:

Can some more educated on Star Wars shed some light on the fact that Major Vonreg's spaceship is called a Tie Fighter despite it appearantly having the shape of a Tie Interceptor? Is this just Lego being bad or is it called in the series fighter as well?

Edit: appearantly Lego just fuked up. On the fandom Star Wars wiki it always says Interceptor for the model that Vonreg flys. BOOOOOOOOOO LEGO!

I'm guessing "TIE fighter" is just used colloquially here, as in "TIE Interceptors and TIE Defenders are types of TIE fighters".

Possible but they used the terms of the types (defender, advanced, bomber, fighter, interceptor) correctly in the past. Maybe they fired the fellow who had a clue and since 2020 someone without one is responsible for the set names.

Does it actually fire real projectiles? And it comes with 4 figs? That's a pretty cool set.

Yup. Has two shooters. The green lasers on the box are renders but the red thing you see close to the Disney logo, is a transred piece that you can shoot around.

Yes, the moderator ranks have been getting a little less pronounced of late, which is what led to Tom and me deciding to bring in some new blood. We're talking about possibly adding a couple more....

I'm glad that this series of campaigns won't be limited. I was all-ready to get 1 of those 200 gilded decks at noon, and then I read that there won't be a limit... Now that I have said this, I realize that I have pledged for 2 of each deck, when I really only want/need 1 of each. I must change this, now!

Two of each as in Frodo or Strider?

2 of each, as in 2 Gilded and 2 Standard. I really only want/"need" 1 of each. The Gilded to keep sealed, and the Standard for ogling and playing with.

That's what I settled for as well - 1/1.
