I think that I was literally the only person at the store on Friday who did not purchase toilet paper.

Now that I'm working from home for the foreseeable future, I stopped into a couple stores early this morning. I bought 6 3-litre bottles of my favorite water (I typically drink spring water, so it's nothing special for me), 4 rolls of paper towel (almost out - not hoarding), and some butt wipes (since they were still out of TP). I have 3 full rolls of TP at the helm, so let's see how long they last...

I was able to get almost everything from 1 store. I had to hit Wal-mart for bread and tuna. Since when the f&*k does everyone eat tuna...?

Yeah the shortage of toilet paper is odd to me. I could and still can stock up on cold and flu medicine, but not toilet paper. Really?

I have a big family and I regularly shop at my neighborhood Costco. So, I typically buy like 50 rolls of toilette paper and a ton of paper towels at a time. I am getting a bit low on toilette paper, but for me that means I am down to like 6 huge rolls. Hopefully that will last me long enough for them to get restocked. If not, there are better alternatives than shown above

Since we're on the topic of TP, after switching from 2 ply to 3 ply, I can't go back to 2 ply. 3 ply is stronger and doesn't come apart easily when wet. ( Some Asian countries use bidets. )

So you may pay more, but you use less compared to 2ply. So it works out to be the same or better.

Preach it! I hate it when businesses are so stupid to think they save money by only providing cheap 2 ply TP. People are just going to use the double amount of TP if you save on layers. In the print shop I'm currently working, my boss is a tight-arse and we have the thinest TP I've ever encountered. You have to use half a roll. Savings much boss, savings much !
