So $20 plus shipping for a deck?? isn't this a little too high? yeah I kown "but only 850 exist", kinda wrong.. If you consider the players edition I would say this is a blant tuck swap to force people pay a premium price for a very unlimeted deck (in the sense that there will be way more that 2500 of these produced - otherwise all KS projects are limited, even those that sell 5K+). So JR got here a nice move to cash in a lot of money with a simple tuck swap! Well done!

I for one was able to get a gilded deck and for $36 + shipping can't complain that much. At least this is truly limited at 100... oh sorry 200, not that good on math!

I'm not the one name calling. Just pointing out the facts. And once again another unfortunate but avoidable mistake.

That's exactly what it is. A tuck swap to make extra money. $20 is the same as the first 2 decks.

And I apologize if I was out of line earlier, I just dislike bs.

Some peeps need KWP's product.
You don't want to merchandise your own efforts one day ?
No, never.
You simply fester away, day after day.

I'm not sure where all the anger and surprise is coming from. Jackson has produced "players editions" on previous projects, so this isn't a new concept. Also, on the Emerald and Scarlett Tally Ho's Jackson had 200 gilded decks produced. So it looks like he's simply following what he's done previously.

The great thing about Kickstarter is if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to back it.

No anger here...

On his previous projects I was lucky enough to get the gilded version without any problem I didn't even read all the description and numbers, because I knew I would get a truly limited deck. This time when I get to the page all the gilded versions were sold out, so I was about to pledge for the non gilded version, but after read a bit the description of the project and realise that I would be paying $20 + shipping for a tuck swap a realise that was a nice move from JR to chas in extra money without any trouble at all, so I had to decide if that was acceptable or not. I don't know if you are new here, but I remember a time when a tuck swap for $20 wasn't acceptable, but since this is JR it seems that it is not the case anymore. As you said no one is forcing you to buy anything, so if before you buy anything you could get any extra information I think that's a good thing...

KS running interference asking 100.
JR being an Artist, not physicist, loses track of the numbers, goes back to plan A.
Which being the normal 200.
Can't blame the feller for supplying to the obvious demand.
Now, can you ?

When I mentioned anger, I wasn't referring to you. I'm not new at all to card collecting, and I have all of Jackson's previous Tally Ho's. If you look at the pricing structure for this campaign along with the number of decks he is releasing and compare it to the campaigns for Emerald and Scarlett, it looks pretty much the same. That was my only point. I wasn't trying to stir the pot.

KS isn't asking for anything or interfering. And one doesn't have to be a physicist to do math not that it has anything to do with math.

Is there a way to block the indecipherable Bruno-Victor flame wars?

Getting pretty tired of both of them.

As for this project, I'm glad the display decks are back!

I was only calling out the blatant dishonesty. Fact of the matter is his previous projects all had 200 decks and suddenly he makes 200 available here. Why bother with a blatant lie of only 100 if that likely was never the plan?

Just settle down, if you don't like it then block me and stop reading my comments

I was watching his Youtube hangout and before Pearl started he talked about wanting to do the KS "make 100" limited. At 15 Legacy's he goofed the Gilded to 120. When the 15, not 50 Legacy error was mentioned in the hangout, he said hates figuring out tier numbers because he stinks at that math, even using a spreadsheet.

100 was the plan. If you want to say anything is fishy it's that any backer can add as many Player decks as they want for $10 US/ $12 Int.

Maybe he should allow people to pledge for just the players if they want.

I don't have the gilded Scarlett Tally Ho so I'm not missing out since I have a bunch of other gold gilded decks. Also it doesn't matter to me the quantity production of a deck as long as I got one.

I wasn't impressed with the renderings for the Limited Pearl tuck so I decided to just pledge for 1 and added $20 for 2 Players versions. The Players tuck looks spectacular to me anyway. I figure more bang for the buck - 3 decks for $45 instead of 2 decks for the same amount of $$$.

The legacy edition of the pearls looks just like the emerald legacy's, very generic and disappointed, im starting to regret backing it. He should of did like the African dark wood with white lettering that said "tally-ho " or just another dark wood so the series would have 2 light wood legacy's and 2 dark wood legacy's. The emeralds are the only ones i dont have because they look like poop, the colors he used are ugly. His fame will pry be short lived if he wants people to pay $200+ for recycled ideas/looks. He pry just had extra emerald wood legacy cases and put the pearls in them to benefit himself financially. It's a sad sad day for kickstarter. The individual pearl decks look sick though.

The African dark wood doesn't have white or any writing on it, just a fancier seal.

If you don't want the pearl Legacy get extra player's deck and sell them both.
