Why don't you ask the Edgy Bros. if you can switch...as it seems that there are still some of the Limited Greens left, they probably would...doesn't hurt to ask.

FYI I was one of those people that "overpaid" for shipping and sure enough, I was refunded promptly after the campaign's end. Thanks guys. Now get to work on these beauts!

Dave tells me that everyone who was charged shipping during that first hour or so of funding should have been refunded now. If anyone is still waiting, please let us know.
As far as I know, we should have funds from Stripe (KS) in a day or two, and things will actually start to move toward the production of both decks. I'm sure they will post news as the digital and then hard proofs come in, etc, etc.
I would like to thank everyone who backed the project, helped us all by encouraging friends to pledge, and hope that everyone will be looking forward to the decks when they become available and later the UC2018 decks (by Rick Davidson) - when the time comes - about 8 or 9 months from now.

Yes. They arrived at the port yesterday, should be in Austin in a few days or week at most.
Here is the black version of the laser cut tuck by Clearcut Creations of England (the blue version is essentially the same, but on Blue stock):
and that's all laser cut, no print or typeset elements.

The UC2017 Fifth Annual Decks project by Edgy Brothers 'Avant-garde" standard edition are at the fulfillment center as of Wednesday! Here are some pix of my pair of each version, the UC green deck with Royal House courts and the blue version with' Edgy Brothers Standard' courts.
Check out the tucks: nothing but foiled goodness, no ink at all. I took a good picture (decent for me, anyway) along with two purposefully sideways views - flash and not - to show off the foil.
I'll be playing with the decks here for the next few days and report back, but the handling should be perfect.
And a look inside at the Jokers and court faces:

Those foil tucks are gorgeous! Shame they were out of my price range.

Really? For what you got with these, I thought $12 was very reasonable. If you missed the Early Bird tiers, it was at most $14 each for a pair, or did I miss something?
We've always, especially the last couple of years been trying to innovate. That's hard to do without being a little on the high side price-wise.

Sorry Mike, I meant the $50 specials. If all that shine is the standard deck I got a steal with my EB!

Actually, those pix I just posted yesterday ARE all of the standard editions.
The laser cut wraps only were shown back on the 1st. Those decks are limited to 50 each, true. I see even that type deck going for $65-$80 these days. We did try to hold the line even on those - they really are expensive to put together. Actually those pix are just a preview of the laser cut part only, the final assembly has yet to be done, since the standard decks are required - along with a Carat Card Case for each - to put them together.
Dave will probably have exemplars of each to show off variants in a week or three. Each laser cut tuck has to be hand cobbled from a flat sheet into the 3D box before the deck is inserted and it t all gets wrapped up in a Carat Card Case finally.

As of now, Gambler's Warehouse fulfillment center in Texas has everything except the coins and the backer fulfillment begins. If you ordered a coin, it will come separately.

These are here and I love 'em. The courts are just hilarious and I really like both the standard foily tucks and the blingy cut-out ones. A big success imo. Eager to see the coins when they come. Was there talk earlier of some geegaw extra for UC members??

Good question since they asked on survey. Maybe they want to know UC member backer numbers out of all backers.

For those of you who have not seen the Ultra Limited Edition (laser cut) decks:
Just a note: I am told that fulfillment has shipped completely, domestic / US backers should have their decks mostly, with overseas following within about two weeks.

Those could be cheap Hong Kong counterfeits for all we know

I just got my ultra limiteds.
I'm a little surprised at how different these look compared to the mockup.
Every color is different and imo worse than the mockup, especially the blue one.
Did I miss something here, why is it so different?

Have not been able to get the ultralimited but I have to say the standard tuck case (in both colors) is one of the nicest I have seen (and having different faces is a fantastic add-on value for a collector)

The rendering for the Ultra Limited green deck looks black. The actual deck is like a white outline. I see what you're saying. Tucks looks cool but not the expected product.

While that is true, the problem was that the original stock we picked and used Chris used to base the renderings on was not available when we went to purchase. I know that Steve at ClearCut Creations presented several alternatives, and the ones used were the best we could get. I agree that they don't look like we expected, which is why we always put the disclaimer in projects that colors and rendered effects are subject to change.
I also agree that the blue one didn't turn out as well as even the very last pictures Steve sent, but I'll have to let Dave and/or Chris respond as far as the specifics.

Did everyone else get their Ultra Limited editions in the same package as the standard editions? My standards arrived mid May but to date no sign of the Ultra Limited (blue). I have asked the question on the private message in Kickstarter, they are following up. Just wondered how everyone else received theirs.

I got mine with the regular edition in one package, but one of the ultras I got was "damaged" and I've been waiting on word about a replacement or something for a while now.
