I asked about the shipping, apparently they will ship before Xmas.

I don't think I will get it for Xmas. That was a let down for me..

That is BS. Why don't they tell people that these are more or less "pre orders." What happened to just having a product ready and then shipping it out? This is happening way too much.

Just got a shipping confirmation on the Black Lions.

EDIT: Just got the confirm for the Signature Collector's Boxes - being sent through UPS, not USPS.

I have something nearly here from Gambler's Warehouse, but I'm thinking more likely Omnia decks. Eddie?

Actually, I just noticed that there's a shipping note from DBorders showing it was shipped around 7PM, but the number doesn't show up on USPS.com yet. I thought GW was shipping these?

I got a shipping notice from DB as well yesterday but this morning I got another from Gamblers with the same tracking number. Looks like DB is sending their own in addition to Gamblers.

As for your other Gamblers package, you are likely correct that it is Omnia. I just got mine two days ago. How long are they taking if you don't mind me asking? My last three packages from Texas (2 from Gamblers) were sent 2-day priority and took 5-7 days.

I try not to get too excited when I get a shipping or tracking notice, because they often generate these several days before they actually put the package in the mail. Maybe that's why your 2-day package is arriving 7 days after you get the notice...

It's not only GW that operates this way.

I don't think this is GW's fault. The USPS site will say that they've actually picked the package up, and it still takes 5 to 7 business days for them to deliver from the point where they actually accepted or picked up the package.

USPS has been late on many "priority 2-day" mails lately, actual time is like 4-5 days.

I've noticed that they've been behind lately as well. Guess they refuse to hire holiday workers and just overload the current employees.

You're right. I have lots of 2 day priority packages going out that are taking several days to deliver. It looks like they didn't anticipate this much volume this year or don't care

Lord knows I don't want to get political here, but don't blame the Post Office. They've been choked for funding for years by Congress in a deliberate effort to tilt the playing field in favor of private carriers.

Very true and they still manage to do a great job most of the time.

oddly it's just been stuff from Texas. The first few steps are normal. Pickup, acceptance at first facility, departure from first facility, acceptance at second facility, departure from second facility. That first 24 hours is normal then nothing for 4-6 days. The delivery date stays the same for a day or two after the missed date then a bunch of steps they day of delivery.

Then don't forget the weather et al. Every time planes are delayed that doesn't just mean passengers are sitting in terminals but that packages are sitting in warehouses. Then there are also traffic jams, accidents and breakdowns that can delay a package.

Or this may be your box...
