Well the latest update that just came out sure sucks, wonder how many other projects are going to be sending a similar update out.

Just another reason I prefer USPCC. Proven company with a great track record, good turn around and oh yeah, has paper in stock!

Who the frack ever heard of a printing company running out of paper?

Damn! I am certain that is what Tony, Ivan & company were told, but it just doesn't make sense unless that paper stock is made to order and someone really dropped the ball in inventory control. Typical order to delivery for 4 metric tonnes of paper stock is one month - assuming it doesn't have to be physically made. Then again, if you catch the factory on vacation, I guess three months is not beyond reasonable. That's just weird.

It is quite possible that they won't have the paper to print this deck till November. They probably have several other decks ahead that they have or are using this paper stock and aren't able at this time to get enough but to do so many decks at a time.

Another project, I can't remember which, recently sent out an update indicating that they had decided to upgrade their paper stock (and to shell out additional money to make that happen); I wonder if this is related.

LPCC (imaginary re-enactment): "Well, we ran out of the paper you ordered, which puts you three months behind in the queue now, but we'll let you pay more for the more expensive paper, if you'd like!"

Much as I love the cards they produce, LPCC/EPCC's printer is really bumming me out with how they run their business.

The printer is indeed out of the classic finish paper stock for now. I'm glad Tony and the guys are sticking to the original plan even when it means a slight delay (most projects are a bit behind schedule anyways). I pledged knowing it was going to be classic finish so I'll gladly wait to receive the decks as they were planned in the first place.

What still makes me shake my head is (as I recall) the Classic and Master (Diamond depending on Expert vice Legends) were supposed to be the same cost. I'll check my notes, but I could swear that was what I was told. Sure, different paper, but why would costs increase if they originally were the same price for designers?

I seem to recall talk of a red edition (and I'm too lazy to read through the entire topic). Will y'all be moving forward with the red edition?

Last time I chatted with Anthony, he told me the red deck should get done, that and some other cool surprises

Waiting on my shipment of greens and I would love to see the reds someday. Fingers crossed.

Carmine will come along, we just haven't worked out the what, when and how yet

If anyone missed the campaign and is interested in the deck, they will be available on our site on Wednesday Feb. 24th.
