If you look at those past foiled decks, you can see that the stamping of the foil on the back of the cards can be faintly seen on the front of the cards - the stamping bleeds through the card stock as an impression.
All these past decks were foil stamped only on the back design, so there was no issues of playability. However, since the Cobalt deck will be foiled on the faces as well, I'm wondering if we'll see the same bleed through issue where we can see a faint impression of the face of the cards show up on the backs. If this is the case, then the Cobalt deck would be rendered unplayable because we'd be able to identify the cards by the impression of the foil stamping that bleeds through to the back.
Yes, I actually open and use my decks, so this is something I would like to know before I drop a relatively considerable amount of money on a deck that may or may not be playable.
I had to look at my Spirit deck to see what you mentioned. If that's the case with the Cobalt deck that you can see foil from both sides, then it'll have to be a deck you'll just play with by yourself. It's a "look and admire" deck but I'm also a player so it'll be put to use.

Wasn't this supposed to be an KS exclusive?? On
update #8 it is clearly mentioned that, guess you can't trust on everything the creators promise...
And they're offering the lower numbers in this sale, this is a great consideration for the backers that put their money upfront!
Didn't backed Gentleman project and I'm happy I didn't, one less creator to support on KS.

It seems like this is a gilded deck, the one from update #8 is not.

If I remember correctly, Alloy campaign had 3 decks available, Standard, Gilded & one with foil on back & front of cards.
It looks like the ones on offer here have the foil front/backs & the gilding.

I attempted to look through the updates and while I could've missed something, It looks like this is actually a combination of the Gilded Holographic Foil Edges and the Alloy Cobalt Playing Cards Deck (Foiled Faces & Backs).

It seems that this one is a combination of the two special editions that were sold during the project.
This sucks, because if I knew that they would release this deck wouldn't pledge for the other 2, I could get the specials futures in one deck only.
I don't know how much they'll ask for these but I sure hope is something arround $80-$100, otherwise I totally waste money on the decks I bought from the campaign

We are not offering the Alloy Cobalt decks (Limited to 550) here as they were kickstarter exclusive only. This one will have a different numbered seal and gilding on the edges. So technically its not the same deck.
Price would not be that high we promise

So basically I've spent $80 (actually it was $102, because holographic decks were sold in a set of 2 decks) to get 2 decks that featured some nice details and innovation, and now I could get just one deck with all of those features for less money, thank you very much...

We sold the gilded 2 decks set for $55. This one will be expensive compared to the set on kickstarter but will still be below the current market pricing on decks with such features.

Is the original decks from the project still on track for January fulfillment?
Alloy Copper, Alloy Amethyst, Alloy Cooper Gilded, Alloy Amethyst Gilded, Alloy Colbalt
Your update states the Alloy Colbalt Gilded has a February 2016....

Hopefully they will arrive in January and it would take around 2 weeks for gilding. So even if we are late it would be a couple of weeks... We will still ensure to be on time

I might have to bring my personal laptop to work tomorrow as I definitely want one given I have pledged for all the others. Not sure I'll remember though... (I leave my phone on silent at the office).

This campaign is three decks but with each of them gilded, makes six. Normal Cobalts went for $35 so with just gilding, interesting to see how much they are. Those lucky 40 people.

$55 isn't a bad price IMO considering the detail of the deck and the rarity. Still couldn't bring my finger to click 'Buy Now'.

Let me know if you want to get rid of any.
I had to pull out of this one completely and starting to regret it.
Would be very much interested in a Cobalt Gilded deck if you got one.
Thanks

Holy Holographic Foil, Batman! These turned out insanely awesome. I received my pledge sans the Colbalt Gilded deck. Seeing the Amethyst and Copper Alloy gilding though, I can imagine how great the Cobalt Gilded will look. The pics below are straight from my iPhone with no editing and no filtering.
