It's raining. My internet slows when it rains. But I did grab an EB.

Same here, but I was number 6 when I got back to the confirmation screen. By the time I got back to the main page only 14 of the $20 EBs had been taken.
I confused Central and Mountain time when setting my alarm, ended up waking up an hour early. Not good when I went to bed just 3 hours prior.

Chach. You know I was being sarcastic for being first again . Usually all the pledges are always open.. They did go faster that I thought... Good for Jody. I wonder if Victor got one

I like these decks, quality artwork, but top part of the Signature deck feels a little bit too similar to the bottom part of the Silver Arrows for my taste. Probably coincidence, but still.

Yep, they really need to fix that before it truly screws one of the projects.
Chris had a few extra, Jody can just subtract one from the number of $40 pledges and he's fine. What happens when somebody has 5 prototype decks period and KS let's 6 (or 7) pledges in? Since backers don't see the campaign dashboard, it's a tough sell saying "it shows you were the last one, and I don't have an extra one"? It's one line of code, though - even if it is a dead heat somebody is getting by when the tier is sold out. Chris had people "tie" twice, and ended up with extra PR decks pledged both times. *smh*

I've always thought it should work like ticket sales sites where as soon as you make your selection the seat is yours and reserved for the next 10 minutes. if you don't manage to process the order in that time frame the tickets go back in the queue.
The "first to complete transaction" model in KS has always been problematic because you are having to rely on the network and processing speeds of third parties (payment providers etc), which is A) unfair, and b)can cause race type errors that fool KS into allowing more pledges than it should.

Oh, I agree. But that would take more than one line of code.

Glad to see many got in the EB. By the way, I have said it before, I would be happy to snatch an EB for someone when there are multiple EB releases at different times. don't be afraid to ask to ride the fiber hehehe

Office computer was slow, I couldn't get an EB. If he'd started the KS just an hour earlier I could have pledged from home and probably gotten one. Still, in for 1 deck at this point.

There are no fiber-optics out here in the country, that's for them cityfolk.

That $20 EB is a great deal, good for those who got it. Kinda wish the white limited deck was just offered by itself.

Marcus you are totally right. Jackson made me aware of how close that was and I am going to change that piece. I am working on that right now. Wow, I never meant to copy anyone.

What difference does it make? The Arrow deck has yet to be produced, if it ever is, it's just a similarity.

That is true, but to me, there are other things that play into my decision:
1. I respect Jackson too much to even seem like I am coping him
2. Jackson and I both produce art for the same audience (this to me was enough to make my decision)
3. I want those who support my work to know I am better than that by my actions
For an artist, it makes all the difference.

I spoke to Jody recently about Innovation and also about his other projects that he has worked on. I really liked golden spike because of the history and research that went into the deck, and it seems that Innovation is no exception. If you're interested in Jody's work take some time to see what he had to say when we spoke.

I'm trimming down on some pledges right now. I'm on the early backer combo and I'll be dropping it. Anyone want in? We can arrange something. Send me a PM.
Edit: well that was a dud. The millisecond I dropped it, it was taken already.

Either someone was sneaking around and grabbed it or it was overbooked at 51 and when I dropped my pledge it evened out the tier.
Oh well.

Looks like it took it out. There's all 50 and all gone. I noticed there were 51 earlier.

Received mine today (3 deck collector set with book), looks pretty good so far. Haven't had time to crack one open yet though.
The first thing that jumped out at me was the overkill packaging job from GW, but it did the job and all arrived undamaged. The box was wrapped in bubble wrap, placed in a box with packing peanuts and then inside a bubble wrap envelope! I approve.
I did get added to Portfolio52 though -

I got mine a few months back. I had a couple of the triple packs and a split brick.
You might want to ask him if you haven't received anything.
