Also the portrait card design thing is just going to be printed on larger paper. It wont be the size of a playing card. If that was what you thought.

2nd look at your pledges: The digital wallpaper needs to be giving at the $2 pledge and say it's also for all higher pledges so it doesn't need to be repeated over and over.
The portrait card design thing needs to be as an add-on. People just want the cards. Usually in 1, 2, 3, 6, 12. I see you have a fulfillment company. Is it local to you? Can you make sure they are protected.
Since your international for USA fulfillment you want want to contact Kings Wild Fulfillment.
http://kings-wild-project.myshopify.com I can vouch they know to use
http://www.uline.com to protect a deck. I think they charge something like $2 per package at .50 per pound + USA shipping of course. Most charge $3 per package.

Every day you delay is better for you. You need a new demo deck and need to update your video. Take a deep breath. Not to many here have made updates as quick as you. Get it right the first time....

Your little dingle berry on the right of the indices works and is a quick fix. I like the thin border around the indices. Thinner the better. It looks like you can go a little further left toward the cut border.

The changes didn't take very long really, just minor things so I just binged on it for the evening. Thanks for your comments I do prefer them now. I think perhaps I will cut up the video add the new updated video pictures and shorten to 2 mins as I've also had this comment elsewhere but I ask you about your Xmas reference because I'm not familiar with optimum times to use Kickstarter but it seems to be going well for people currently and my project is 30 days. New demo deck ( I'm still waiting for mine from MPC to arrive so if I order another that will definitely push my Kickstarter to run over the Xmas period and into New Year. You mentioned the new year as a bad time. Hmmmm?

Well, the holidays are a busy time for everyone. Printers are backed up, buyers are stretched pretty thin on funds and tend to really think about what to pledge for.
I say go for it! You have a solid design and not too exorbitant funding goal. Just make sure you manage expectations with everyone and consider holiday delays.

Nice.
I just realised that you are using repeated court. So you have 12 fishes. Why not use unique court, one fish for each court card and use pips (customized of course) for the numbers?
This would prevent you from using repeated design, would use all your art, would allow you to design new number cards, and would increase the playability of the deck for the number cards.

Hi, yes The fish are represented in an order of fishing based prize worthiness. Its important they represent the numerical value and not the suit. Wels Catfish as King and stickleback as 2. I'm keen to keep it this way.

I see. Sorry, I know nothing about fishing!
![Embarrassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)
But I'm interested in this deck for a friend. I usually don't like repeated courts, but if it is logic for the theme...

HI, I have now updated my project and the video etc and I feel the project is ready now ready to launch. My 28 day project will finish around the 14th December if I launch it today/tomorrow. At least this way it doesn't finish directly in the CHristmas week...
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/12 ... n=823846af" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I have also updated rewards to reflect the shipping costs and I have chosen to factor this into the deck price so backers are not hit with extra cost when they choose a reward.

Good luck on your project. Since Jackson Robinson's project sold out so fast, now seems like a good time to catch the card communities wallets still open - go hook ya some!!

This deck is great. I really like it. On the downside, no Mick Jagger fish card image thing.

umm... whats a snaffler?
Re: Fishing For Compliments Deck, Now Live KS

One who "snaffles" things up
meaning, gets in there early and clears out the goodies. For Instance I snaffled first prize at the fair today... or
Verb
snaffle (third-person singular simple present snaffles, present participle snaffling, simple past and past participle snaffled)
to put on, or control with, a snaffle
to grab or seize; to snap up
(informal) to purloin, or obtain
Not great English but hey ho.
