Hi guys thank you for the comments!

I am working at the Kickstarter campaign in those days, and much has been done.

I also decided the alternative version, the "Insomnia". I am using the yellow/orange tuck box, and all the characters have an angry face with sharp teeth.

White bg and pale colors

The draft I'm posting are not final.

Let me know what you think so far :)

Cheers

Definitely the white giovanni! The yellow kinda kills the colours, i was wondering if the colours can be even more pale..

Is 'can the colours be more pale?' the new 'can the borders be thinner?' :ugdance:

I agree with Kai though, the pale colours are LOVELY.

Thin borders? If you can't make the design extend beyond the edges of the card and float in mid air then, frankly, you aren't trying hard enough!

+1 for white... and no angry faces.

I am saving up my coinage for this deck.

Ok guys got the message!

White background ;)

I was playing with colors again. I think that yellow/orange + violet is the right combination for this deck, but I also tried some alternatives (@Volant - With pale colors ;) )
cardz_colors2.png
@Stan - I want Prism and Insomnia a little different, not only a color swap. I have to work a bit more, but I think it will add a lot of value (and fun) to the whole project.

By the way when I started designing Delirium crazy and angry faces were mixed (diamonds and spades were angry - hearts and clubs friendly).

As always, thank you for all the precious feedbacks!

Cheers,

Giovanni

WHITE BACKGR... oh, are we done?

Definitely red/yellow for the red suits, not sure about the black ones. The red/yellow pops really well, if you could get a similar effect on the black suits that'd be awesome (not sure how though).

I agree with Magik and think the red/yellow for the red suits look the best. Maybe you could come up with a different color for the black pips to make them pop and contrast against the purple violet like you did with the red/yellow.

And the KS page is looking really great at this point! Let's knock this one out of the park: for Giovanni - and UC as well.

So you'll be releasing two decks on launch date?

Green tuck, blue and red pips
Orange tuck, violet and red/yellow pips

I also agree, the red/yellow looks great. Violet pips for the Insomnia is better because the green tuck pips are already blue.

Hi there!

I am going to raise the funding goal at 8k and print only with EPCC.

The first goal (8k) will unlock only the Delirium Prism, the UC branded green deck.

Delirium Insomnia, the orange one, will be unlocked as 15k stretch goal.

Thank you for the Insomnia colors feedback, are really useful. I'll focus on the Prism now, but I wanted have a couple of Insomnia cards to show in the campaign (I'll go with red/yellow and violet for now, I'll work more on Insomnia during the campaign).

It's very hard (if not downright impossible) to get an accurate rendering of a prismatic tuck case, but for those of you that have one, think "Zenith". It's the effect most people call a "rainbow" effect, created by the bending of the light as it moves around. Here's a picture that hasn't been posted here before that gives a little idea of what it will look like:

Delirium tuck box paper will be different than Zenith, the prismatic paper is matte and is basically white (won't affect colors as holographic). Just change colors with different light.

I attach a couple of pictures EPCC sent me, as Mike said...is pretty difficult render this effect.

The cool thing is this paper is new. At the moment no one used it before :)

I think that's due to Giovanni being in Italy. In other countries, it's common to use the Day-Month-Year format, but in the US, it's more common to use Month-Day-Year format. So in other countries, 1/11/14 reads as 1 November 2014, not January 11, 2014.
