As mentioned, I think not starting off with USD dollars is the kiss of death. The art is nice, but the goal is high. In addition, printing with EPCC seems to be the less expensive and more flexible trend for printing.
Good luck with the remaining days, but it's looks like you will fall short of your goal.

I think your campaign is going slower than I would've predicted based on how nice I think your deck is. Sometimes you never know, I thought the Origins deck would break $100,000, that's how good I thought it was, but got less than 60% of that.
Two potential problems that I think may be slowing you down is that the currency is listed in Pounds instead of U.S. Dollars, and I think your video could've had used more production. You need to post regular updates (you don't have even 1 so far) and post what your stretch goals are. I don't know why some people keep their stretch goals a secret, or trickle them out over time. Their meant to be incentives to promote pledging, but if we don't know what they are, then its no use. The most important thing is to market yourself to a broader audience. Get yourselves featured in design blogs outside of collecting/cardistry/magic. While we don't want a bunch of fluff, you need to offer better add ons than just a t-shirt to drive additional revenue. Consider adding coins and storage boxes, those are always popular.
I have to agree 100% this time, buddy! Don't blame me for agreeing once in a while, bound to happen. I've talked to Valerio about the issues that I see, and basically they are pretty much the same. A little too high on the goalposts for a pair of Expert decks, could easily be under $15K - or less, and I have to agree that pledges asking for things in GBP instead of USD is a killer, and also that I expected Rick's "Origins" to do at least $75K if not more, but again - it was the first playing cards project anyway to try to fund in NZD - again, I just think that having a state-side bank account is a key to success here.
I love these cards, frankly, and as I've already noticed anyone that isn't following along and doesn't already know the history of the French courts
should be watching! It's just a great, educational project overall, and the deck is beyond good. I hoped it would take off, but it just appears to be stagnant, which is a shame.

I think the courts should have some coloring in them.

Couldn't hurt, I didn't say it was perfect, just that I really like it, and it's very educational.
I'll get them to run it on CL if they don't make it on KS, work with them to set a little more realistic goals, get people here to give them advice like you just noted, and see if we can't figure out how to fund it in US$. I think that will work...

Before we all get too gloom and doom, there's still 20 days left in this campaign. At the end of the day, I feel the quality of design is here, its just a matter of getting it marketed correctly. However, I don't see the effort or direction Valerio is taking in getting exposure for this deck. For god's sake, man, at least get in touch with Lorenzo and others on KS and get some cross promoting going on, give each other shout-outs. Get a write up on Max Playing Cards and other cardistry/collecting blog sites. Your updates are informative, and I appreciate that, but give us something more to look forward to, to get us excited about this deck. Where are any mentions of stretch goals? Add on some coins and storage boxes, just do something!
If it does in fact fail to fund, then I certainly do hope you'll take Mike up on his offer and get this on CardLauncher, just remember to keep this with the USPCC.

Again, I totally agree. I hope he does something, and I'll suggest that Lorenzo offer to cross-promote. It only makes sense. He should have already figured that out, people do it all the time, and showing another project on a high profile project always helps.

Hi Guys,
I thank you for your interest in the deck and in the updats, it really means a lot to me. Already thinking about doing a little info book to put in the project as a stretch goal.
I'm trying to cross promotion with Lorenzo and other project that are online at the moment, everyone is not that exited to cross promote a deck when you have 150 backers. You can understand that.
For the stretch goals it doesn't really make sense to make a stretch goal if the project can't even reach half the minimum goal. I know for you It might be a reason to put in more money but for other people it could just seem a desperate way to get some more money. I think stretch goal have a reason to be if the project is aready founded or at least close to founding.
For the price I totally agree, it's a bit high. But i can't go lower because of the really High USPCC price, for this deck we're talking of around 5$ a deck + the around 3$ for the fulfillment company + 10% to KS + 3-4$ shipping price. it's around 13-14$ a deck, I'm selling it for 15$ doesn't seem unfair to me.
For the relaunch I'll probably go with EPCC or LPCC. they offered me a way better price and LPCC also provides the fulfillment and shipping at a fair price.
In the end there are still 20 days left and I'm doing everything I can to promote this deck as much as I can.
I was on an Italian paper on saturday but in Italy kickstarter isn't that famous for now.
Honestly I don't know what to say. I think that the design is quite good or at least not too bad.
The price is fair. 25 for a couple is in line with every other deck on KS, foiled on the tuck.
Maybe as you said the project in punds? yeah might be a problem, for that I would like to ask someone of you if you know a way to bring the project in US$. Maybe someone who already created a project in america knows how to do it and can help me in relaunch it over there.
I'll launch the project on cardlauncher of course. and i hope that one will work with paypal or something similar so we don't need a us bank account, because if it does there will be exactly the problem we had with KS.
I want to thank you for all your support and I would like to ask if you can help me in sharing this deck. I really think the community of this forum is a powerfull way to get the project founded, please contact all the people who might be interested, small shops, little casinos, everyone who could really help this project to get founded. I'm already doing it myself but it seem to be not enough.
Thank you all,
Valerio.

If someone is charging you $3 per deck for fulfillment, then you are paying too much. If it's per order though (which should be the case) then you should factor that in with your other pricing tiers.

Yup, international and "big orders" are even higher, not mentionning he will have to pay for the boxes and shipping supplies later.

Jackson's Kings Wild Fulfillment provides a much better shipping container in almost every case, and that's not without cost. It's almost a guarantee of no damage, and he sends things out in armor-plated boxes and tubes with inner lining protection for uncut sheets.
He got 'burned' by a previous fulfillment service, and that's why KWF exists. It is the best, but as I noted, that means he has to charge a bit more, it's just more expensive to do things better than the norm.

I don't know if you're looking at stretch goals the right way. Stretch goals should be designed to add incentives to backers to help you reach your goal and beyond, not something offered only after funding is reached. If we know good things are in the horizon, we will do more to support your campaign and spread the word and be all the more energetic to help you achieve your goal. Its simply a way to get more money, not a desperate way.
