You can find those at a decent price on Amazon. That's where I got mine a long time ago. Still in stock.

I had no idea. :shock:
Go for it, Sher.

Do the single decks have tuck boxes?
The Black & White (1995-ish) decks that were pre-Piatnik licensing them are in a plain tuck, I am fairly certain. Of course, I doubt that I can get more than 1 or 2 of those - if any, like I stated elsewhere. Again, I'll know more today or tomorrow, Wednesday at the latest, and with pictures to show more details. I just wanted to gauge interest in them here, since I'd seen them shown in the this thread. I also got and posted a pix of the "11 of Hearts" misprint that Piatnik put in the first 3,000 boxes of their #2117 tins.

Picture of the tuck box for the single deck "Gatteria" Italian Cats here: http://unitedcardists.com/viewtopic.php ... 410#p32410.
The layout of the eleven pips seems too deliberate for it to be a misprint - seems more like a gaff card. Are the Italians Cats deck poker or bridge size, Mike?

They are European poker size, clearly not exactly 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" but as close as they make them, similar to the decks you see if you have any from Japan. I suspect they are similar to the 310g premium stock they use as an upgrade now, because they were made in 1997, but I haven't had them in my hands yet.

I'm almost certain that the pix I posted last night (11:54PM & 11:55PM about three or four messages up) are actual size, although I could be wrong. They came off her scanner direct to my inbox yesterday. Those are the "Suicide King", Joker, Blue deck back and QoH.

So, considering that I own two of David Blaine's series A Red White Lion decks, what would somebody like to trade?

I'm not absolutely certain that I will give one up at all, but just throwing it out there to see what kind of fish I might catch...

Well, if you're willing to drop the change:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ODD-BODS-p-card ... 1c38cb8f88" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or for a little less. With shipping to US, about $30:

http://www.tuschundegon.bigcartel.com/p ... ying-cards" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

BTW: Reading the artist's twitter feed, he says this is the only place to buy them and there are only a few left. So I bit the bullet and ordered a deck.

I'm gonna order some but I'll ship them to my contact in the UK coz I'm a cheapskate. She'll bring them to me in the summer of 2014. Anyone who is in no rush to get them and wants to save a few bucks let me know. :)

One red back (unsigned) single deck left of the "Italian Cats" first shipment left, priced $40 + actual shipping. After that the prices will go up to what I'm offering them elsewhere, sorry, there just aren't enough to go around judging from the quick responses I have already received. The tuck is shown in my profile pix.

It looks like I won't have any of the original 1989 Black & White version to sell. If any, I will get only one or two - maybe. I consider those the ultimate White Whale since they have not been printed every by a major company and less than 500 were produced.

I might be able to get a few of the original Piatnik "11 of hearts" misprint single cards, not certain. They come with the note from Piatnik that was sent to the original 500 purchasers of the color deck when they sent out the corrected 10 of hearts to "repair" those decks stating that they were a factory error and "were never intended for release".

That last remaining (Red back) "Italian Cats" Gatteria single deck edition (C) 1996 is gone, which means unfortunately I can't take any more order until I know exactly how many more there are. Sorry for those of you that were on the fence, several people jumped in all at one time, and I already had one more than I could accommodate ask.

When I get the answer to "How many more are available", I'll let everyone know. In fairness to other members here, I will sell about half of the unsigned ones at the price I previously showed, which was $40 + actual shipping cost. I'm not certain just how many can be signed by the author, and I'm leaning more towards the "Certificate of Authenticity" as opposed to having them physically signed on the cellophane outside the tuck. I don't think they have the right pen (like a non-bleed "Sharpie") available, and I don't want to risk damaging the tucks.

Hey man can you do me a favour, check with her how much it will cost to ship 2 decks from the uk to Singapore? The website doesn't ship to many places despite saying worldwide shipping.

If you're using Firefox, just type "20 GBP to US$" into the search box, or go to google.com and "search" - it will show the answer without any further prompts.

Same for "xxx US$ to SG$", it just converts and displays the answer int he window you have open.

"xx# to kilos" works the same. You probably want to use "xx# to grams", though (or "xx ounces to grams"). 1000 grams is a KG, and they price mail in 100grams increments in most countries, just as we would use ounces.

Better yet, use Chrome and just type it into the address bar.

We'll I've been messing around with:

http://www.royalmail.com/price-finder" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I calculated a 250 gram small packet, 5 day delivery with delivery confirmation to Singapore, I'm getting £10.10 shipping. I think that's about the same as what the guy on the website is charging, no?

The thing is that they dont ship to singapore, which is a pain. Tried getting in touch with them but no replies as of now. And messing with that calculator, using Airmail Small Packets for 250g, its only £4.70.

I only have 3 decks left in the UC member offer at $40 + actual packaging & shipping per deck: http://unitedcardists.com/viewtopic.php ... 501#p32501" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As noted in the thread linked above, the next deck sold must be BLUE back or a pair, since I only have one RED left.

Please PM - I don't always notice in the thread right away, even thought I am subscribed to it.

Wow! I was just going to post my wish to this list, and while trying to find pictures of it... I found it for sale on eBay for less than 10 bucks!

Polish cards made in Krakow, sold in a plain paper wrapper. I got two decks of these from a newsstand/kiosk when I was a summer student there in the late 1970's. They got destroyed over the years. Now if only someone had the reddish-brown version!

My other white whale, besides the Gallifrey One deck, is the IcelandAir deck. I've contacted them, but the only way to get one is on one of their flights.

Well, that's an easy problem to solve, just go hang out at the airport at the Iceland Air desk and ask random people if they'd mind buying a few decks for you and your friends on the internet. ;)

Or take a nice vacation and grab a few decks for yourself and your friends on the internet.

Key thing to remember here is your friends on the internet. :mrgreen:
