Yes, I was riffing off the name of his standard deck. I thought "Koala" was funnier than "Zodiac," since there actually are Zodiac decks out there. Besides...

The cards are fantastic but the packaging (only bubble wrap which leads to dented corners) and stickers on the cellophane leave a bit to be desired.
Looking forward to getting my gold decks. Thought they might ship together but they were not in the (flimsy) package with my KS pledge, so I guess they are coming separately.

I am not that picky when it comes to the tuck boxes and a little bit of damage but, ouch, some of those corners look pretty bad. I have not gotten mine yet.

I actually just got my decks. I have significant damage on one corner to all four of the black gilded decks and to one corner of the standard black decks. In fact, the cardboard box that each set of decks came in also has damage to one corner. Almost like the fulfillment center just flung the cardboard box around. Or, at least were not careful at all handling them.

Hey Shawn, can you show the package that it was shipped in?

I am sorry for this issue. I will get you some new decks.

Hi Jody, I have the same problem with how the decks were delivered. Also in a bubble mailer as @PrincessTrouble posted, and my decks came like this..

One the black deck, I tried to take the bar code sticker off from the cello, but that didn't turn out well..

Here are the photos of the boxes the decks came in and the corners of some of the decks. The dinged corners of the decks corresponded to the dinged corners boxes. The mail package was fine. Interestingly my boxes had the bar codes and none of the tucks had the bar codes on them. Jody is replacing my dinged decks, which is very much appreciated! That is why he is one of the best!

I could live with the bar code stickers as the cellophane will be taken off anyway, but those dings, ouch!! I'll have to get my deck from the mail and see how it is...

Everyone I’m so sorry about the barcodes. Has anyone tried rubbing alcohol before. I know goo-be-gone works but leaves a smell unlike rubbing alcohol?

Several of my decks had some dings as well, but not as bad as some. The cards look really nice though. Of course, I can't get just one, or one set...
The card guard is also really nice.
I am still waiting on the gold edition. I guess those decks will ship later.

Got my two-deck set in today The art is gorgeous but I feel like if these were printed with USPCC or Cartamundi instead of Legends, with cold foil AND gilding on one of the decks, it would truly be a top-tier deck... It feels like the red foiled deck ought to be red gilded, too, while the gilding on the black deck feels out of place on the cards which appear quite plain immediately after seeing their full-foiled twins

The cards also have a slight bow and the gilded deck clumps a bit. The matte tucks are nice but it's the sort of matte material that almost feels... too matte (Harvonsgard, any insight as to what I mean?)

Those stickers certainly blow. I was very disappointed when they arrived They definitely cannot be on display which is upsetting. I really hope this doesn't happen again.

I received my deck and metal card today. I was easily able to carefully remove the sticker off the deck. There was a tiny bit of residue left that came off by using the sticker itself to pull it off. My metal card looks real nice, but has some sharp burrs on the edges.

Who did fulfillment for these decks? I hope that my decks aren't as bad as some of those seen here, but I won't know until I return to the US at the end of year

Again my apologies for the stickers. That was not my decision. I wasn’t aware they were “slapping” stickers across the front of the decks. Very annoying and frustrating. I think you all know I wouldn’t allow that.

This is my first use of this company. They are not set up to fulfill collector items. So, I have stopped fulfillment, sending them back to Legends, taking off those hideous stickers, recellophane, placed in a thinker cardboard box, putting on my own barcode neatly on the bottom (small), sending back to fulfillment where they will send out the best packaged decks we’ve ever seen.

I believe this company can do fulfillment well. I just need to change my expectations and plan accordingly.

Vasta have you tried using rubbing alcohol to gently rub off the sticker? It looks like it should work. By soaking a paper towel with rubbing alcohol and placing it over the sticker for at least 10mins you should be able gently rub off the sticker. I know this is annoying but it should work. Please email me admin@blackinkbranded.com. Let me know if that worked for you.

Lastly, I want you all to know why I am trying a new fulfillment company. With the global crises, The ports are all backed up. Shipments are taking 2 to 3 months to get to the US. I needed to find a fulfillment company close to Legends to cut down on delivery times. I found these guys and the are very reputable. I just need to adjust my decks to fit their system.

Jody, as a backer of every single one of your decks I'm 100% sure this wasn't your fault. And at the end of the day, it is just a sticker. I will try the alcohol trick- thanks!

I'm curious why some people got barcode and some didn't, thankfully mine didn't have them (was worried after seeing photos), but 3/6 did arrived damaged despite being well packaged - which leads me to believe they were damaged during packing not shipping...

WD-40 works well to take off glue, maybe it will get the sticker.

Yes it looks like the single decks without boxes got the sticker. And yes, they were more than likely damaged before shipping. That is why I have to reset my expectations around their way of doing things. They normally don’t deal with delicate shipping items like collector decks. By repacking the single decks with thick boxes around them and putting the barcodes on before sending to fulfillment will cut down on their rough handling. No corner dings. It’s definitely a hard and expensive lesson for me to learn, but in the end will be worth it I think.

Regarding stickers and sticker residue, the best and safest thing to use is a product called Un-Du, available on Amazon and Walmart, among others. It works wonders and doesn’t leave an odor behind like Goo Gone does. I strongly recommend just getting the big 32 oz bottle (about $30) since the dinky 4 oz one costs around $10.

Gold Dominions deck came today. Exact same issues as the previous version, bar code sticker across the front, shipped with minimal bubble wrap in a soft wrap bubble mailer.

I had thought jody was pulling all the units back and fixing the fulfillment issues before going forward with Gold Dominion shipping.

The alcohol trick did not work. I rubbed for a good 5 minutes but there's still residue: If it will come off after rubbing for more than 5 minutes then I'm not interested in that. I would be very skeptical using this fulfillment company again.

I was able to remove the barcode sticker cleanly and completely by pulling slowly and then pulling any residue using the sticker itself. However my tuck cases are dinged at the corners just like everyone else's.
