LOL... come on. Where not talking about any black magic fuckery. It's about picking 30 folks, announcing their names (on the dates you yourself choose) and sending 30 deck via mail. Not that hard of a job. I could do it while being chased by the Horsemen of the Apocalypse and the Grim Reaper himself.
Huge thanks to justplaycards! To be honest I have a weird only follow 64 accounts on instagram policy so, even though I roam around and watch the usual suspects for some news, I wasn't following cartamundicards and might have missed that giveaway if it wasn't for him.
So again, huge thank to justplaycards (he runs a card shop so show him some love if you're from the UK or Europe), I owe you big time (not just for that)!
yes a lot of folks thought this was for the set but it was only for the United Deck... Plus there was a mistake in the contest winners.... my name wasn't part of it [MURRAY]

Nope. You'll only see mine in the Show us your cards thread. Such a gem is price less.
Like others wrote. Yah, it is only the one United deck, which actually can take a while to arrive since Cartamundi told me due to the current situation there're a lot of folks at home office and they aren't at full force in Thurnout.
Sure the set would be sweet to have but it's a free deck and one might be inclined to say the way better of the two anyways.

FYI, although the coronavirus situation may have slowed businesses down or complete shutdown, Jirs sent a message to winners of the draw asking for our shipping details on March 18th, and so I've replied accordingly the same day.
Radio silence without even a read after 1.5 month.
Not even a "Read" in the IG dm. Btw, I totally forgot about this prize until Harvonsgard messaged me for confirmation two days ago.
Hope this fill in some detail about how Cartamundi communication is doing at the moment. If you follow Cartamundi on IG, you'll know that they have been posting regularly once in a few days, so by not reading these dms, it probably means something.
Best of luck to those projects who have been delayed by Cartamundi's production. [MURRAY]
I got at least, two days after messaging them, an update today. Seems like the problem is simply that they aren't allowed to access the offices where the decks are stored.
Let's see how long this takes...

Really wished there were a chance to get the Bicycle deck... the red looks so substantial despite the faces being all standard. Nonetheless, grateful enough for the Cartamunidi deck (still waiting on it).
LOL... Rarest decks 2020. Seems like they don't know Lotrék (GoG Standard Oath) or Jackson (Six Foot Five Gilded edition) or Lotusinhand (Duo Arctic). Not even mentioning that there is still some of 2020 left.

They're a cardistry channel, so naturally they don't and won't care about the collector's side of the spectrum
Heck, even how he describes the Cartamundi deck just shows how alien he is towards Cartamundi decks.... No knowledge of the stock and finish, and compares it with a Bicycle deck. Normally you'd expect a channel like this to know the perks and specs of a large spectrum of decks, and would at least compare the new Cartamundi deck to the previous thicker True Linen B9. Nope, not in this case.
I know, I know . Plus click bait title is the status quo on YouTube.
As a cardist that cares for all aspects of the playing card community the broad brush stings though .
Cartamundi finally delivered the giveaway decks as promised. It was worth the wait.
The decks lacks beautiful art on the courts but for a celebration deck of a company that earns their money with actual meant to play cards, standard courts are perfectly fine and make sense. It's the only kinda-negative about the United deck nonetheless.
Blue and copper foil in a perfect balance (not too much, not too few) throughout the whole deck.
A lot of symbolism worked in also.
The true star is it's uniqueness regarding stock/finish. I dunno if this was confirmed/mentioned somewhere but the deck handles and feels like USPCC stock with B9 finish...
What a sweet combination. A tad too soft for my personal liking but it performs out of the box like a formula1 race car.
A shame that this is not made in larger numbers. This stock/finish experiment should be out there for more to enjoy!
