Decknowledgy wrote:Completely different experience for me. Extremely hard to get in contact and to get a response from both Nick and the team. I've had at least 10 inquiries in which a few were the same issue, got responded once per three to four emails. So after three months of short subscription with Intl delayed shipping, I cancelled my subscription and decided no more direct business with KWP with this kind of service. It just proves my theory that KWP is very American centric. Couldn't care less about this brand if communication is never upgraded. I also want to add that the constant change of the website including the frequent taking down and putting up different links and the most recent updates using Instagram live is just a pain in the ass to keep up, not just because of the short notice but also because of the timezone difference.
Are there any other (better) ways to notify your followers about new releases? Definitely.
Does KWP consider benefiting and engaging their wider audience? Explicitly NO.
Happy only are those who have too much free time just following the live updates.
There are some very good points here. Insta only updates are indeed frustrating, I missed out on stuff because of this. The web site is indeed a shambles and the fact that I can't even look at my old orders to know exactly what I ordered is beyond frustrating. For what you pay for merch to have such slow support is also not cool, there should be a 24 response max.
I'm still in for a shorts and table sub for next year but on the fence about cancelling, as much as I like the end result the journey to get the product is getting wearying.

I agree about the Insta updates, but on the other hand, it helps me save money when I miss out and can't get some stuff
I'm learning to live with not having to be a completionist.
That's weird that you can't see your old orders as the first page I see (see pic below) after signing into my account is My Account Order History, which are in chronological order and up to date.

I probably didn’t say that as well as I could have. What I mean is that if I click into the orders, sometimes it just says something like “Sept Flash Sale” but the link to the actual product is no longer there. I;m getting my first delayed shipment shortly and reconciling it is going to be a massive pain because of stuff like this. It’s just poor site management really.

Strag, I agree it would be nice if Kings Wild could leave the links in invoices up for at least awhile longer (I'd like them active for at least a year) for the same reason. I really like Kickstarter because I can go back years later and pull images and such from them. I do like the invoice history. What would make it better is having the links active for some time after, even if you take down the sales part of the page.
In fact, just an hour ago, I linked a coworker to a Kickstarter campaign of a board game I got. Now, I may be able to send them some business their way because the game is still available on the creator's website.
I'll try to bring it up in an upcoming Instagram live, if I can get a chance.

Cool, would be a nice change from what we have now and considering lots of product has been left up in the past with “sold out” status, no real reason not to. Can even de-link the pages from the nav and make them uncrawlable and would still work for our purposes.

I've had somewhat decent service from Kings Wild - but during the moving sale earlier this year I ordered a Baskervilles/Moriarty two-deck package that never shipped. I sent three or four emails before I got a response and they told me they were out of the Moriarty deck so I'd get two Baskervilles instead
Not a big deal at all in the long run but there was no acknowledgement that I didn't actually get the two separate decks I'd paid for :-/

Well... if you didn't get what you paid for... that's lame for sure. Would you like a refund? Who does this Jackson guy think he is??

No no, I understand, the moving sale was chaos! And it was a good deal regardless so I'm happy, but thanks

SMH. This was an opportunity for us to have a deck that looked better than the original, rare $300+ deck but somehow couldn't get the gilding right....
I always buy the official decks, not the crappy/demo decks.

Curious why I paid $65 and am only getting $63 back...

Hmm, I thought the deck was only $60. I paid $120 for 2 decks and was refunded $122. Was the additional $5 for shipping?
Edit: Confirmed it was only $60 per deck

I haven't been refunded yet, but I hope I get my full $69.95 back.
EDIT: Got the full $69.95 refunded.

What happened? They weren't able to make the deck due to gilding issues?

The decks were printed and then sent to the gilder, who apparently messed up the gilding really bad for the 200 Green Gilded decks. There was a lot of bleed onto the front and back of the cards from the gilding, which in effect ruined the edges and made them unusable. Apparently the 50 Black Gilded decks were fine and those that got the three deck set are now getting a two deck set.

The triplets are already shipped?
Somehow my order showed "fulfilled" on Dec 18 but that package was actually my short subscription decks...

Same, my set somehow shipped even though I wasn't refunded the green gilded part of it yet and it was also supposed to be part of the delayed-shipping order. Emailed them so waiting to hear back.

How long is a reasonable amount of time we should be waiting for the refund to show up?

I had ordered two on different orders, and both were refunded on Jan 7 and 8. I've also received the two "error" decks that I ordered, and after opening one up, maybe I should never do a quality control position because it looks fine to me. Or maybe I just lucked out with one of the better ones of the lot. Either way, the green gilding is quite attractive.
