I like everything about this project so far...

Only 2 decks (IIRC a 3rd black deck was initially going to be included).
Great back design and re-designed/re-colored courts.
Decent price (well worth it for Lorenzo art).

Good stuff!

Because it is. I can only speak for what I've tested so whatever stock E user for the JP deck is good but not as good/durable/long-lasting as standard USPCC stock. Everything else about that deck seemed on-par.
Except the tuck but I'm unsure where the JP tuck was printed... if Cartamundi had anything to do with that then tsk tsk. I know it was a novelty and out-of-the-ordinary but it ripped extremely easily and did not hold up long. But I digress. USPCC's stock is better. Now if this is printed with Cartamundi's new stock that E used for the Blue Cohorts then the jury's out. I'll be excited to hear reviews (since I won't be opening these :ugking: ).

First of all thank you so much for all the feedback and for proofreading the page guys! You’ve all been amazing.

Regarding the stock, the principle reason for going with cartamundi is actually the one part of the campaign we haven’t officially unveiled. The cold foil bordered black tuck edition. It is also true that the cobra deck (JP games) is my favorite handling deck of cards for 2018. I have been in contact with Jirs at cartamundi several times in the lead up to this and have repeatedly asked that the same stock and process used for the cobra deck be used for the Parlour. I’ve been assured that cartamundi will try to replicate the choices made.

I think if we felt that funding was going to be abundant—I’m nervous lol—then I think we would have considered a USPCC run of the standard wine and navy variants the way Lorenzo managed on HOTRS. Of course that campaign was resoundingly successful with $89k in funding which in our case would be astronomically beyond our wildest expectations.

Fair enough although I will take Cartamundi less durable stock (that I could not care less about as I am opening my decks but not using most of them for games) over USPCC’s registration issues. The former is a matter of taste but the latter is a printing quality issue and much more serious in my book.

The deck looks ok, following the Ravn trend by Stockhom17. A semi-custom deck...

Now, the price seems a bit too high, $16 for a semi-custom deck is on the very high spectrum of the scale... I would expect this to be priced between the $12 - $14, but not at that price for sure... (just a side note, Jackson offered Invocation (fully custom) with cold foil for $20)
Unfortunatelly this is the trend lately by all creators, just increase the price regardless of what is offered.

I may get this if I'm able to get on the Pair Early bird, otherwise this is just too much money for me...

Best of lucks nonetheless

The early bird deal comes out to $26 for the pair. $13 each.

Getting excited! Will it be a timed EB (i.e. 24 hours) or a limited EB (i.e. X slots)?

Lorenzo set it for 50 limit. I can discuss with him regarding extending it to a time window. Say the first 3-5 hours. But he's the expert with 8-9 campaigns under his belt. So I will defer to his expertise.

Spoke to him, he thinks 12 hour window is fair for early bird and I agree.

Thanks, I much prefer a time window. That way there isn’t some insane rush to beat Pierre, which is never going to happen!

Starts April 15 at 12 noon Eastern Time. I had to hunt awhile to find out where I saw it. :? But, eventually found it on Stockholm17's Instagram site.

Correct. This upcoming Monday at noon eastern. It's also announced at the end of the trailer AND in the first line of the description on the Trailer Youtube page.

I edited the thread's title to include the date/time of the KS just as a reminder for everyone ;)

Best of luck G-dubs! :D lol

Thanks for doing timed EB's, that's the best new trend in playing card kickstarters since personalized tiers for Pierre

YES! Timed EB's will really help those of us in the Asia Pacific region. I don't have to stay up and have my wife question what on earth am I doing. :D :? Thank you for thinking about the rest of us!

12 hours works just nicely as it allows us to wake up at our normal time. Now if only we can make this the standard , at least for designers on UC who can afford it. :ugdance:

The red and blue work fine for me. The Black one is an absolute pass for me since it gives me too much of a House of the Rising Spades: Cartomancer vibe. Without the gold border it would be way better, imo. But seeing collector's drool over everything foil, I guess it is the right move to do. Nonetheless, It is definetly a cool move to share it here and the gold foil details in the back design itself are pretty dope.
For the part with the monogram being inspired by the Split Spades. Anything is always inspired by everything. So that isn't a downer from me.
The bottom part of the tuck box that some people complain about. I think it perfectly represents you and therefore should stay.

For the design in general. I think it is always great to hear what the community thinks and sometimes someone even gives you an awesome spark for a thing that you don't liked yourself but just left on the design because you couldn't find a better solution. But for my first deck, I wouldn't change a thing if I'm convinced of what I've done. If you 100%, or even just 80% for that matter, like what you, Lorenzo and Lotrek came up with, just release it and see how greatly appreciated it'll still be.

I said it on instagram and I'll repeat myself - funded in less than 24 hours (I would even say less than 14 but some people are slow :D ) - No need to be nervous! You merged with two of the best in the card community and most important of all you are a great part of the card community yourself. Your channel will grow and prosper.
No, I don't want something for free, I just leave that honest opinion here...

Alright, now I'm a little nervous for another reason. Eventhough the campaign was sent for review on tuesday and KS said I would get word back by today, I have NOT received approval as of yet. This is very unfortunate.

Hang in there. Any way to call them up to get an answer? Not sure if their creator customer service is as non-extant as their backer customer service.
