I don't care if I end up paying full price for these, Alex Chin's decks are worth it.

Alex Chin's decks are definitely worth every penny, but I thought we were talking about Lotrek's deck, which are always worth every penny, too. ;) :ugdance:

Logged in here for the first time in a while after getting the email and immediately picking one of these up. Couldn't be more excited by the whole prospect. Almost sad there is going to be a reveal, there would be so much excitement in not knowing until they were delivered. It's awesome to see so much faith from the community in Lotrek, and I am stoked I get to put my money where my mouth is on the sight unseen boast.

The deck is still on sale, what makes me curious about some things.
Obviously this deck isn't that limited as some others, and i guess not printed at this time.
OR that Mystery deck sale isn't going as good as expected ? Who knows :?:

I hope everything turns out well till February 28th. Good Luck ;)

There is a good chance that the deck hasn't been printed yet.
There doesn't appear to be a limit on how many you can order as there are with other decks.
However it's also possible sales are not going so well.
$85 is quite high for a deck which may rule a lot of people out, or perhaps some people are waiting for more details to be revealed thinking that an extra $10-15 isn't that much of a difference.

I recently looked through the messages posted here and if each member who has commented bought an average of 2 decks there were only about 40 sold.

Guess we'll have to wait & see. :D

Well, part of the trick here is that you are not going to be able to get any clues on what exactly it is until the reveal - in three partial stages.

I can give one clue (a few people have asked why it says you paid me): without even answering that question, I can tell you that sales are certainly not bad, far from it.

I started off with 2 but it depends on the reveals to if I'll buy more.

In December Lotrek mentioned something about a new version of the Oath deck in blue.
Am I remembering that correctly? Perhaps this is that deck.

Lotrek said that there are only 50 of them printed. But then again he might have printed more. We'll all be wiser tomorrow :ugdance:

I was very impressed by the way my Ambassadors deck order was handled: all my inquiries were addressed in a timely manner and unfortunate mistake made by a shipping company was fixed. I received a very personal treatment.
Regarding the deck itself, it’s my favorite as of today. In my opinion it’s a masterpiece of graphic art. I definitely in for mystery deck.

Stevecru: You're correct. However, I'm not sure if that is the deck. I feel that more than 50 decks have been sold already & with just the name of the deck being released tomorrow makes it too obvious.

I too am guessing it isn’t the blue Oath deck (Royal Oath) because the received orders are likely significantly more than what he said he printed of that deck. Still, I am sure the mystery deck will be amazing, even if they are not super, extremely rare.

Arabesque. Inspired by the Alhambra palace in Granada. Lotrek's take on the most beautiful arabic design. Oh yes. Oh yes.

There haven't been many arabic themed decks yet actually. The Jinni deck that was made recently is the only one I can think of.

This is exciting. This is something I know Lotrek can blast out of the park. Not worried at all with this one. I look forward to seeing the full reveal, but the on the fence should just look to Icons and Treasure to know this is going to be wonderful, but with some new elements and direction.

TwoPieceFeed, this is just a name reveal. I like how he said it in English with an Arabic type of font. I know a little Arabic, so it threw me off at first and then laughed that it was really English.

The back design of the recent Radia cards is clearly influenced by islamic geometric patterns ... I think I remember reading somewhere at the time that that one was also based on something from the Alhambra, but I may misremember that. And I know of one more that you have seen as well ...
