I got my email real early, but don’t check it much at work. Got my one with the brick, so I am happy. Congrats to those lucky few that got an extra!

The extra dynastinae's were only visible to folks in tiers with 6 or more decks. Maybe that's why?aardvarkgod wrote:Yeah, I tried that too, figuring I overlooked something...still no luckchicken_ql wrote: I was the same, but then i clicked back to the add ons and it showed up after.

Well you could let your son buy a second brick and a second Dynastinae deck. Why buy one when you can buy two for twice the price.

So... if somebody, hypothetically, were to add a second mixed brick to their pledge, might they be able to get a second set of extras (mini deck, coin, gaff pack) that they would have gotten if they had ordered it as a separate pledge, included for free?

To be a bit fairer, I did drop my son's account EB pledge for a regular pledge. That didn't seem right. That was as far as my morals could take me.

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
Eh. It was worth a shot.
I had been sitting on the fence about a second brick / set of goodies / Dynastinaynay, and ultimately decided against it. This is just me questioning myself for doing that. But, if the answer is nope, too late, that's fine. I'll buy a second set of the goodies anyway, but leave the second brick on the table. I mean, I really am foolish, but I'm not Bradius foolish. (Well, usually.)

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
TGW, I liked your new video and glad to hear The Parlour decks are going into production soon.
That got me wondering if you were able for Cartamundi to still print the decks on their B9 stock instead of the new E7 stock. As I understand it, the manufacturer of the B9 and all other stock other than the E7 stock went bankrupt. I have to feel that in the near future, if not already, they are going to have to move all newly printed cards onto the E7 stock.
If so, I can see that as a problem for deck creators that were expecting the cards to be printed on a thicker card stock. For one thing, that really means that for the cards to be fitted properly in a tuck box, the tucks will need to be made noticeably thinner to avoid them rattling inside a tuck that is too thick for a deck of the new thinner stock.

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
Well, our order was placed well in advance of the announcement. Lorenzo said Jirs (cartamundi) assured him that we were in before the deadline. Our quote/invoice (which was agreed to and paid) features the superluxe b9 itemized so we should be good!Bradius wrote:TGW, I liked your new video and glad to hear The Parlour decks are going into production soon.

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
Thanks TGW. That is good to hear. I was just worried that they might run out of stock before all existing quotes are completed. It is good to hear that they are committed to fulfilling all existing orders in the paper quoted. As I thought more in it, they could transition higher volume standard decks sooner to stretch existing B9 and other stock a bit longer for the custom deck market. It is a bit scary that it is a finite inventory.

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
I'm curious as to whether the decks with the B9 stock will become more collectible in the sense that it is limited in supply. Does anyone else feel that this will go the way of the UV500 stock and become more desirable to ones collection? I'm a hopeless collector, so yes I do think of things like this! ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)

Custom decks have the larger advantage - of not being hideous - as well.

Maybe one day, they'll be the new Jerry's Nuggets. Nobody knows exactly. I don't really see a craze for UV500 decks though, and I don't think B9 decks will be highly sought after in the near future aswell.james001a wrote:I'm curious as to whether the decks with the B9 stock will become more collectible in the sense that it is limited in supply. Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
I'm interested if Cartamundi will try to find an alternative for the B9 for future decks, requiring thick stock.
The new thin stock hasn't been praised much, tbh not many decks use it so it's still unclear how it will be accepted.

I actually like the new stock e7. It’s snappy. Doesn’t feel as durable but it handles well.

After having played around with the Blue Cohorts for a while, I sure like it slimline more than B9 decks. Still a bit too soft for my liking, but a step in the right direction.

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
I am sorry for derailing The Parlour discussion and going off on the Cartamundi card stock issue...However.
While I like the E7 stock as an option, I still preferred the handling and feel of the B9 deck and finish. I guess I like the more substantial feel of the B9 stock. I really felt with all of the stock and finish options Cartamundi was offering, and their cold foil options, they were pulling ahead of USPCC in printing quality. With the loss of all other stock options, I feel this is a significant few steps back for Cartamundi.
