I'm going to have to start wearing a bib when I visit your thread Jase....

While I do love old cards they definitely take a back seat to newer decks for me... Except your collection good sir. You've posted more beautiful and interesting old decks than I ever realized existed. It makes me wish I started collecting a few decades ago.

Thanks for the kind words regarding my collection my friend :D ...i also wish i had started collecting decades ago   ...you know i only started this thread because i thought i`d never get asked to be collector of the month (which started around the same time) i honestly thought the cards that i posted would be laughed at...but with the help and encouragement from a few members i plodded on..i regard UC as a forum for collectors of modern American decks, so when a member thanks me for showing them something they have never seen and likes what they see (even if its just one deck) then i`m glad i started this thread so long ago and it gives me the incentive to carry on..even though sometimes i wonder why i bother

Here`s some cards :D
First up is a modern jacobs bible deck from Lion playing card factory in Isreal.
1216.JPG
A triple deck set called "Panchatantra"from India produced by 61c and printed by Parksons graphics of Mumbai, all the decks are gilded.

I love that you keep posting decks from your expansive collection, especially the more rare ones. I also love how far along you've come as a collector and part of the community. Let's take a trip back in time to some of your first posts from Feb 2014:
Jock1971 wrote:I have only recently started collecting card decks through kickstarter and e-bay. I didn't know what i was letting myself in for. At the minute i have 12 Decks and more on the way. My favorite so far is the Bicycle Arch Angels deck by Tom lane.

Well......they ain`t Waddingtons.
I am not sure why you posted these here ? I`m not the best with American decks but...
The Court Cards were used by the American Playing Card Co of Kalamazoo (see some decks here a.trionfi.eu/WWPCM/WWPCM/usa/apcc.htm) Also Russeell & Morgan used these courts on a few of their decks as well e.g Congress N0.404 & Texan N0.45 (see below).
As for the Ace. Sorry but i have not seen this before, There is a advertising joker by A.P.C.C that looks like your ace (a.trionfi.eu/WWPCM/decks10/d08525/d08525.htm) so it could be an advertising ace for a company etc.
thats all i got sorry,As i`ve said i`m not good with American decks, hope it helps :D

So here`s a set of Texan No.45, published by Philip Morris in 1984 .The set faithfully reproduces the Russell & Morgan Texan No.45 decks from the late 1800`s.
