I'm going to have to start wearing a bib when I visit your thread Jase....
While I do love old cards they definitely take a back seat to newer decks for me... Except your collection good sir. You've posted more beautiful and interesting old decks than I ever realized existed. It makes me wish I started collecting a few decades ago.

I love that you keep posting decks from your expansive collection, especially the more rare ones. I also love how far along you've come as a collector and part of the community. Let's take a trip back in time to some of your first posts from Feb 2014:

Re: [Jock1971] My Collection
Thanks EcNate........That`s a blast from the past...and nothing has changed that much,
Arch Angels is still a firm favorite of mine ( i sneeked a picture in one of my posts only a couple of weeks ago) and i`m still a bit unsure i fit in this forum..but hey ho your all stuck with me now like it or not
Here`s some pictures
Got the "Arbores" kickstarter in today, designed by Empire Arts and printed by MPC. Only 180 deck produced. A Russian deck called "Dead Souls" produced by Alexsey Orleansky in 2011. The illustrations are by P. Boklevsky and are based on characters from the 1842 Russian novel Dead Souls by Author Nikolai Gogol. Dalek playing cards. i got these free with the Doctor Who Adventures Magazine a few years back and have just found them while rummaging in the loft (attic). Doctor Who Adventures is a fortnightly magazine aimed at the younger viewer of Doctor Who and each magazine comes with a free gift (sticker sheets, note books, pencils etc and occasionally a pack of cards). And finally a gilded Waddingtons deck. Thanks for looking at my cards -jase-

Well......they ain`t Waddingtons.Chuqii wrote:Got these decks in, but I haven't been able to identify the maker. Anyone have an idea as to who made these and when?
I am not sure why you posted these here ? I`m not the best with American decks but...
The Court Cards were used by the American Playing Card Co of Kalamazoo (see some decks here a.trionfi.eu/WWPCM/WWPCM/usa/apcc.htm) Also Russeell & Morgan used these courts on a few of their decks as well e.g Congress N0.404 & Texan N0.45 (see below).
As for the Ace. Sorry but i have not seen this before, There is a advertising joker by A.P.C.C that looks like your ace (a.trionfi.eu/WWPCM/decks10/d08525/d08525.htm) so it could be an advertising ace for a company etc.
thats all i got sorry,As i`ve said i`m not good with American decks, hope it helps
So here`s a set of Texan No.45, published by Philip Morris in 1984 .The set faithfully reproduces the Russell & Morgan Texan No.45 decks from the late 1800`s. Symbols of Russia, produced by Sima-Land in 2016. Pirate Playing Cards Cards printed in China in 2005 specially for Accoutrements, Seattle, USA. And a double set by Waddingtons to finish today. Re: [Jock1971] My Collection
A double Bezique set from W.H. Willis & Co. Willis & Co only produced playing cards for a short period of time from 1869 to 1887.
A Kennedy Space Center souvenir deck.
"Fantasy Style" designed by V. Gulevsky and printed by Style Plus in 2009.
And a Tax Wrapped Gilded deck from Waddingtons to finish today.
