The crew started sending these out today. We were having issues sending out "letters" with our shipping system. Yes, Yes, I know it sounds stupid, but yes we are sending these out now. They should come seperatly.PrincessTrouble wrote:Has anyone gotten their Pi sticker sheet?

Re: Kings Wild Project - Official Thread
Also, for those working on their 2020 playing card budget, Jackson mentioned recently on one of his Instagram Live chats that 2020 is going to be a busy KWP year. He has planned 90 different deck releases during the year. Keep in mind that includes varieties, for example a subscription set would be 3 versions (Standard, Limited (Subscription), and Gilded (Subscription). Of course if you like Artist Proof decks, you can multiply that number by quite a bit.
I am probably going to have to pick my KWP battles next year. The one I am likely to really be wanting to save up for is his (first) Lord of Rings kickstarter, which likely will be at the end of 2020. That is me. There ought to be something out of the 90 deck releases that will interest you. For those of you good at math, that is basically a deck version every 4 days (yeah, you heard right).
Anyone wanting to hunt and bag everything better stock up on some serious ammo!

KW Shorts: 36 decksBradius wrote:He has planned 90 different deck releases during the year. + 13th deck: 3 decks
KW Table Players: 24 decks
+ 13th deck: 2 decks ???
That's 65 decks just from subscriptions, leaving 25 for the rest. With average 2.5 editions for every released deck, it leaves us with 10 more decks next year on top of subscriptions? I'm really looking forward to that!

Re: Kings Wild Project - Official Thread
Thanks massagin303. I hadn't thought about eliminating the known.
So I think you are right on the Subscription decks - it is 3 for each 13 versions (standard, limited, gilded) - so that is 39, so 51 remaining.
I am not sure about the KW table decks. They will come out once every other month. There is a standard and a Gilded version. I know they have the Golden ticket version, but I am not counting that as I don't count Artist Proof versions. That takes me to 12 Players decks in the year, so 39 remaining.
You also have the Pi decks, which are quarterly that also include gilded versions. That would be 8 Pi decks, that takes us to 31 remaining.
I think Jackson is planning three Kickstarter campaigns next year: Mistborne, the Meat Deck, and Lord of the Rings. I think that was the lineup.
However you slice it, that is a lot of decks next year...

Re: Kings Wild Project - Official Thread
Hey guys. I excited to announce that in January I will be launching a 6 deck playing card subscription that will be nothing but Bicycle decks. If you enjoyed my Premium Tally Ho series of decks that were deticated to the ladies in my life then you will enjoy this 6 deck series as it will be very similar. The subscription will be similar to my Table Players subscription and will feature a new deck every other month.
Below is the first deck in the series, the Bicycle Branded Kings Wild Americana

Will the decks be available for purchase outside of the subscription?JacksonRobinson wrote: I will be launching a 6 deck playing card subscription that will be nothing but Bicycle decks.

Will there be limited/gilded/exclusive decks only available to higher tier subs as with Shorts and TP subs?
Will sub slots be limited as with Shorts, or unlimited like TP?
Will they always be Bike versions of other decks? Or will some of them be unique?
Is it possible for people with multiple subs to get combined shipping?

I always try to catch it when I can, but I will be at work this evening and won't be able to. Plus firing off questions into the mass of messages is a really frustrating experience. I usually have to ask the same question 4 or 5 times before I get an answer. I love that Jackson does those streams, but it can be a challenge sometimesBradius wrote:You probably should jump on his Instagram Live this evening. That usually doesn't happen to me, but sure did the last time. I emailed him right after the live stream though and got a quick reply. It is kind of hard keeping track of the discussion (the chats can be all over the place) and talk at the same time.I usually have to ask the same question 4 or 5 times before I get an answer. So, I'm starting to reflect on 2019 decks and when it comes to KWP, I'm thinking that "Equinox I reprint" is my 'coup de coeur' so far. There's something I can't really describe which attracts me to this deck. And for the price it's a true jewel! Going to buy a couple more just for future's sake.

Re: Kings Wild Project - Official Thread
Equinox II was the deck that made me want to get a Kings Wild Shorts subscription and, in my personal opinion, was Jackson's nicest deck until the Equinox I reprint. So, yes, I have a favourite and I'll agree with you.masagin303 wrote:So, I'm starting to reflect on 2019 decks and when it comes to KWP, I'm thinking that "Equinox I reprint" is my 'coup de coeur' so far. I think I need to appropriate one of my three-deck carat cases to house my Equinox, II, and I reprint decks to show them off properly.

Re: Kings Wild Project - Official Thread
While the Equinox I reprint is without a doubt tuckboxwise exceptional and beautiful (Is there a better combo than Jackson and Clove St.? ), I personally prefer Valley Forge, the white standard ed., and the Revival Cycles HMCS deck. The extras at the Revival courts are spot on my sense of humor. And the Valley Forge back design is something I felt in love with on first sight.
So for an award, I would vote for Equinox reprint aswell, but my personal favorites are the other two mentioned.
P.S.: If someone in Europe can hook me up with some extras for a reasonable price feel free to PM me. I have already have them but since I use them for gameplay (and some cardistry ), I'm happy to stock up on them. Revival Cycles interested in all versions, Valley Forge only interested in the white tuckbox standard edition.

Look closely at the photo. It shows "1/7". Good luck securing one. Since this was a deck for his brother, I am going to assume they are for family. Good luck on the hunt.
I'll be happy with my seven regular issue (which was limited enough to 500 decks and only 250 released by Jackson).

Six Foot Five is definetly one of my top 3 KWP decks. Praised be that, I like the standard way more than the black (or dark green) tuck box.
On another note; the KWP calender mentions besides the Black Reserve release Old Ironsides reprints. Does anyone have further infos on these?

Six Foot Five alongside the Old Ironsides are two of my favourite KW decks over the last year followed by the original Equinox.
I am glad I grabbed a few Six Foot Fives at the time as they are becoming increasingly hard to find.
What miffs me a bit is that it appears that Jackson is planning a reprint of the Old Ironsides - this is not something what I expected.

The Black Note Reserves are already listed on the shorts subscription site. You can’t buy them yet though.

Is it just me or is there no option to buy a non-gilded version on its own? All I see are: green gilded, black gilded or triple-set of both plus non-gilded.Bradius wrote:The Black Note Reserves are already listed on the shorts subscription site. You can’t buy them yet though.

I don't mind reprints in general. Quite the opposite, I think it is good when new collectors or folks that missed out, get the chance to get decks that are out of print for a resonable price. It miffs me more when decks get overhyped due to scarcity and reseller want obscene prices for an easily reproducable industrial product. Of course it fells always a bit lazy to see new versions, but if the fans/consumers decide that e.g. Black Verum Videre are good, who am I to bash on them. I don't have to buy reprints or other variants. But yah, I wouldn't have expected that either. I wasn't aware that Old Ironsides are sought after. I mean I could have guessed since you don't see a lot popping up at the bay or elsewhere, but still I wouldn't have thought.
